Valley Views Cottage is a fairly remote location 45 minutes from town nestled in a secret valley. Here you can experience the best of the Australian Outdoors with all the comforts of home. The cottage is creatively decorated with modern necessities and privacy guaranteed including a large fully fenced garden with dogs welcome.
Adventure on your doorstep, explore the pristine creek and nearby waterholes, with walks and short drives a plenty and a serene waterfall in the nearby nature reserve.
Valley Views Cottage is in a wilderness location, it is a rural property and a destination for those who want to be surrounded by nature and enjoy mountain and valley views.

We invite you to share and end explore our beautiful 200 acre property deep the Macleay Valley. Enjoy cooling off in the pristine Parabel creek on summer days or bush walking up the mountain track to breathtaking views. You can go walking or cycling directly out of the property and enjoy the secret swimming hole when you visit. If you like to hike the walk to the ridge provides breathtaking views across the Macleay Valley.

Valley Views Cottage is private with its own private fenced garden and Deck with countryside views, an outdoor dining table and inside the cottage a comfortable lounge with dining table and large sized bedrooms with comfortable beds.

If you are looking for a place to come and do some work this the place for your workcation, Starlink Internet is available at the cottage for its exclusive use and we have tested speeds in excess of 300 Mbps. A seperate desk, laptop stand and monitor can be set up on request.

Valley Views Cottage was built using rocks sourced from the property and is a rustic and quirky building set amongst mature gardens and lawns.

The space is cosy yet spacious with two large bedrooms, a bathroom and an additional outside shower, toilet and laundry.

Enjoy cosy evenings with plenty of wood for the wood burning stove chopped and ready to use. The comfortable lounge area has a big screen TV with satellite TV channels and Netflix. Firewood and kindling is supplied ready to use.

You will enjoy absolute scerenity in your own private world, with a large private and established garden with views to the mountains, with plenty of outdoor seating locations.

Things to do: on hot days Cool down and Picnic by the creek, take the picnic basket, a ground mat and fold out chairs are available.

Or take the forest track to the cascades which flows through the summer months with its own day use / picnic area and cool water pools.

For walking enthusiasts there is a 4km return well defined trail that leads to the top of the mountain, where you will find breathtaking valley views along the way. There is also a rustic table and bench at the top where you can stop for for a breather or picnic lunch.

Suitable walking shoes are needed for the walks on the property including to the creek which is a 400m walk from the cottage.

The creek is a great spot to cool down on hot days and there is a grassy area suitable for picnics.

If you want to do nothing you will be comfortable being surrounded by nature in peace and quiet. The only sounds usually being an abundance of birds, on some occasions you may hear a neighbour mowing the lawn or similar rural sounds.

If you need to make phone calls then you will need to have a phone that enables wifi calling and then you can call through the internet connection. There isn't any other phone reception.

There is a selection of beaches within an hour and 30 minutes drive from the property, so if you are on the coast and fancy a country break Valley Views won’t disappoint.

The kitchen is fully equipped with Smeg appliances with oven, microwave, dishwasher and a 4 seater breakfast table. The big dining table seats 6.

Outside area includes a Hooded 4 Burner BBQ, outside 6 seater dining table and a private deck overlooking surrounding countryside.

This is a remote location, there are no local amenities within 45 to 50 minutes drive

Please Note tin dry times when there is very little water we will ask for guests to use the shower only not bath, we are not on town water and collect rain water but if it hasn't rained for a long time we will need to be water wise.

Very generous check in after midday and checkout by midday so you have plenty of time for relaxing and no need to rush away in the morning of the day you leave.
