Ottimo/Excellent. You cannot go wrong with Lo Scoiattolo! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Agriturismo Lo Scoiattolo. Our spotless room was small but comfortable with a good bed and direct access to a shared terrace with a terrific view. The bathroom was large, completely modern and also spotless! The real stars however are Rosella, and Romano, the proprietors, and Gabrielle the chef who assists on special occasions. All three were completely welcoming, charming and a pleasure to be with. They treated us like family! Rosella can cook like nobody’s business. Her pastas are excellent as are the antipasti and secondi. Her kitchen is a marvel. We still do not know how she does it! Romano was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and how to get there. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! P.S. If you happen to be in the area on May 1, be sure to reserve a spot for lunch even if you are not staying there. Rosella, Gabrielle and Maria put on a special lunch featuring virtu (a fantastic local dish served once a year on May 1) as well as other delicious dishes that is just wonderful. We were two of 127 people dining that day and it was a highlight of our trip to Abruzzo and a unique experience we will never forget. Thank you Rosella, Romano and Gabrielle for the best time ever.

L' "A"griturismo
Tutto quello che potevamo desiderare da un agriturismo era lì ad aspettarci!
La struttura ha 4 camere carine e pulite, situate al primo piano, mentre al piano terra c'è un ampio ristorante dove vengono cucinati tutti i prodotti coltivati ed allevati nell'agriturismo.
Abbiamo respirato veramente l'aria di natura e semplicità, in un contesto familiare, improntato all'accoglienza e all'informalità.
Panorama mozzafiato: di fronte la vallata con vista mare (all'orizzonte!) e alle spalle le creste innevate(a Giugno!) del GranSasso, mentre di notte abbiamo goduto della vista di un cielo super-stellato, lontani dalle luci dei centri abitati.
I bambini sono stati riempiti di attenzioni in tutto e hanno potuto giocare nelle aree gioco, nei grandi spazi verdi e con i cani, i gatti e tutti gli altri animali della struttura.
Il servizio è stato veramente il punto forte! Siamo stati accolti inizialmente da Romano e Rosella che non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla e ci hanno dato davvero la sensazione di stare in famiglia, aiutandoci con simpatia
e disponibilità nella scelta delle escursioni e soprattutto facendoci gustare delle cene sorprendenti!
Dal 01/06/21 la gestione è passata a Renato che con entusiasmo, empatia e professionalità raccoglie l'eredità dei suoi predecessori e inizia una nuova avventura che ha veramente tutti gli ingredienti per continuare l'ottima riuscita.
Un ringraziamento a tutti e tre per l'indimenticabile esperienza e un grande in bocca al lupo a Renato! Torneremo!!
