I needed a place to stay overnight due to a golf outing in Monterey The property was nice, clean and easy access to get to the course. Also close to mall (walking distance) and provide dining options. Overall, worth the place to stay.

GREAT room, location, Management, parking, comfortable bed. Very easy to get to and location is great as it is only 2 minutes from Fisherman's Wharf and everything else around there. Very reasonably priced, I was there for 3 nights. Manager was professional & friendly, I drove in from out of town and he let me check in at 10 AM, which is so rare. 1 story so nobody is walking above you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The hotel was a ripoff. I didn't expect much from a motel and knew that the price would be ridiculous because all hotels in Monterey gouge travelers during car week. But $580 a night for this dump was obscene. There was no closet, no drawers or shelves for clothing, a tiny work table where i had to put all my underwear, socks and belongings, no hair dryer and no coffee maker. Bottled water was $4.50. Worse, I was told at check in I'd have to run hot water in the tub for 5 to 10 minutes before it would be warm for a shower. No joke! I couldn't even get hot water in the sink to just wash my face! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!

A night in Monterey

Our room and the entire property had been recently remodeled. Everything was clean and nice. We were happy to see that they not only had a refrigerator in the room but also a microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking is right at your door and there is plenty for all of the rooms. We were sad to see that the pool wasn't quite finished and open but it looked like it will be soon. Our great grandson enjoyed the bathtub and spent a while in it having a good time. The location is great and close to everything. We were surprised that they didn't cost a lot more for the location and how nice the property was. It was a bargain compared to other hotels in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

Price is just right for a basic room. It has refrigerator and microwave but surprised that it has no hair dryer. If you need to do some office work with your laptop, bring an extension cord. Overall, a thumbs up for this inn.

The room was a bit small for us, bathroom was tight to get in. It was overall clean though. You can tell they put so much effort on the outside but the inside was bare. Not many surfaces to place bags or anything. Small towels that don’t wrap around our average sized bodies. The AC works when it wants to. It wasn’t an overall bad stay, but just was expecting something more based on the existing reviews and images of the place.

Stayed here for the Laguna Seca races (15-20 min drove from hotel). Property and hotel room was clean and parking was easy. Hotel room was decent price. Restaurants were walking distance, walking back was uphill, but good to walk off the food. I would stay here again.
