Parking was available, but first come first serve so we did have to park on the street. Within walking distance to shops and dining Great staff and nice room.

Location was great, the room was not so great. The room smelled like dog urine so bad that I had to go buy air freshener and Clorox wipes. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on, the blanket was a thin fleece blanket and it got really cold. Thankfully there was another blanket in the "closet" that helped a little bit. This bed was so old and hard that I have a bruised hip from laying on my side for 4 nights. Don't expect any amenities here. If you're traveling with your dog then stay here. If not go elsewhere, your back and nose will thank you. The room wasn't very clean either.

The bed was really stiff and uncomfortable and the bedding was lacking and very scratchy. The fireplace pilot light can't be turned off and emulates heat throughout the night, making the room extremely stuffy.

The price and location were amazing. Only four blocks from the main street of Carmel. For Carmel the price was quite cheap. Our upstairs room had a distant view of the ocean and coastline. The room was clean and both the room and hotel appeared to be updated more recently. It is an older style hotel with only stairs, which was a bit inconvenient. The staff was very friendly.

I arrived late and found easy check-in instructions and key. I loved my corner room and felt very comfortable. It was spotless. In the morning when it was a bit chilly, it was easy to turn on the gas fireplace for a little heat. There was a little table and chair near the corner window, where I could sit quietly and see the sea in the distance. The proprietor was lovely. I would definitely stay again.

Cute, older, yet updated Inn. The additional room with the twin beds is what sold us. Perfect for traveling with a teen. Excellent location, easy check in and parking. I only interacted with the front desk once but the gentleman was super friendly. My only comment is hooks in the bathroom, or, somewhere additional to hang towels 😁 Otherwise, a really fun place to stay, walkable to everything.
