Set on the peaceful hillside, just 5 minutes from Menton’s lovely old town, Maison Baousset is a charming apartment for 4. It is close to many hiking and cycling routes so guests can get out into nature, or head down to the coast and relax on one of Menton’s popular beaches. It is the ideal option for friends or family looking for an action-packed holiday.

The living space is full of light thanks to 3 glass doors that lead out to different balconies, encouraging guests to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Inside the sitting/dining room is furnished with a combination of contemporary and antique pieces. There is a comfortable sofa with a flat-screen TV and a dining table for 4 next to the sleek kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, coffee machine, washing machine and fridge.

Guests will enjoy relaxing on the terraces with views over the surrounding hills. There is an outside dining table with a parasol for memorable meals al fresco. And a second, sunny terrace with loungers where guests can relax.

Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed. There is also a wardrobe for storage.

The apartment is in the hills on the northeastern side of Menton, in a peaceful part of town, just 7 minutes from the beach. Menton has been a popular resort town for over 100 years and is known for its temperate climate, exotic gardens, beautiful beaches and the Medieval Old Town. It offers a tempting mix of history, culture, fine cuisine and pure relaxation all year round.

The apartment is a 5-minute drive from Menton’s Old Town with its narrow, cobbled streets and historic architecture. The Baroque Basilica of St Michel towers over the buildings which slope down to the Old Port.

Just 10 minutes from the Italian border, the location ensures that guests can get the very best from la Belle France and enjoy Italy’s Dolce Vita!

For self-catering, the best local produce is to be found in the covered market, Le Marché des Halles, on Quai de Monleon (6-minute drive). Every day of the week you can find the finest regional food including cheese, fish, charcuterie etc. Alternatively, there are several supermarkets within 10 minutes drive.

Nice Cote d’Azur airport is 45 minutes.
