I loved the check in process is all done through text. Code to enter the building and the room. There are extra supplies for guests, towels, toilet paper, even a remote. The Dog Wash Cafe staff was absolutely amazing. They were friendly and went above and beyond for my family. We were in town to remove my daughter from life support. They extended our stay multiple times and provided us with a care package to make sure we were taking care of ourselves. I can’t recommend them enough. Julie and the other staff will be forever in my heart.

I prefer checking in with a person. Had to download an app. Asked if we could check in an hour early via text. Was told they “would” ask housekeeping. I guess they didn’t. I never heard from them again and the code didn’t activate until 4:00.

We arrived 2 minutes before 4 pm our check in time and the door would not unlock. We had to call the number and the staff at the cafe let us in. The checknin time should be 3:45 or later. It was inconvenient. The morning staff at the cafe was rude and unhelpful. The ER is across the street and therefore it can be loud.

This is a great place to stay, but be prepared to be self sufficient. There is no reception, and all services are handled through a remote desk. Also, booking this on the hotel's website directly may be the better way to go for cost and billing issues. We got charged double, and on top of it, got charged at a much higher rate because we pre-booked.

If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, especially with an expensive bike — and I believe a dog — this is the place for you. If not it is still a decent stay: the bed is comfortable, the room has the ability to be very cool (It was set to 64 when I checked in), the LOGE products are mild minty. Water pressure in shower was good as well as hot water level. The only thing I didn’t care for was the dog hair in the shower and elsewhere. I didn’t see any on the bed thankfully. I also did not mind the product placement in the room because I typically buy when tempted, but I already have Rumpls and a Yeti ice chest. Oh, and I wasn’t ready for the 100% virtual check-in and found myself with my bags on the street scanning my ID and credit card after searching the property for the office (they do have a dog groomer). That said, once I texted, I quickly got the code to check in.

Interesting concept! What I didn’t like was the Resort fee, when the hotel is in the middle of town. We were not planning on renting any equipment as we were driving thru.

Got locked out of hotel and room numerous times. Needed fresh towels was told they were in a green cabinet down the hall. Had to get dressed go there no towels. No place for welcome pets to do their 🚌 ness. No complimentry anything. No coffee nothing.

Wi-fi capute

through no fault of the owners and staff, a construction operation had severed the fiber optic cables that provided wi-fi to the hotel. None of the electronic access codes worked, TV would not operate, no wi-fi. The attached cafe had on wi-fi so were unable to accept credit cards for purchase of item. They did their utmost to make allowances for the disruption, still a pain though.

Family Road Trip

Communication was excellent! Self checking was a breeze and made for a super and hassle free checkin so we could get going on our time in town. We just stumbled onto this place but will absolutely be returning!
