Great location! House was very nice and well equipped. Nice fenced yard for the pups. Benchmark was great to work with and responded very quickly to anything we needed.

We had an awesome time this wee at Sea La Vie house. House was very clean upon check in. Benchmark management was very responsive to some questions we had sent them. Weber Genesis gas grill is a great asset as typically the houses we rented from had cheap grills. Golf cart provided great transportation and easy parking at he beach. Only complaint would be that the house is not stocked with any kitchen staples like salt and pepper, or other spices, olive oil etc. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom was provided, and only one roll of paper towels in the kitchen provided. Othere than that, I would highly recommended this property.

The parking was very tight for just two cars. The first day the kitchen sink had black ants and also on second day. Upstairs shower adjoining bathroom shower drain very slow and stood in water. A guy came and used a white bath towel to carry the snake he used in the shower to clear the drain. The amount of bath towels was not even one a person. We had to wash towels to have enough for every one. Most houses we rent at least have salt and pepper no spices at all. No dish washer tabs, no dish soap, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom not even a spare. The back porch needed cleaned off the furniture out there was nasty dirty. The lighting in the upstairs bedroom besides too bright lights in the ceiling there were two little black desk lights on the mini nite stands. Just wasn’t any cozy warm feeling in the house. No coffee filters provided even to start with at all. The beds were very hard but bedding was at least clean. The city golf cart was the best. The response from my concerns were delayed getting back to me. For what is paid for these houses it shouldn’t feel cold but a warm feeling to stay there.

Kid-Friendly Rental in August

We love Miramar - the location, the beach, food, it's great! We have rented vacation homes in this specific neighborhood for the past few years. The proximity to the beach is 10/10 (15 minute walk or 5 minute golf cart ride - can't beat that). The community pool is ok - decent size pool, clean, and accessible. When it comes to the beach house rental, I would give it a 7/10. The house layout, and amenities are all really nice. We had 2 young kids who loved the low coffee tables and open floor plan to run around. There were a few odd things that happened, of which were handled and communicated with once I reached out to the team. When we arrived we did not have the gate code, so we needed to get someone driving by to let us in. There were towels in the washer, and the washer itself was inoperable. Someone came to take a look, but it continued to remain inoperable the entire time. When we arrived the upstairs balcony door was completely open. Overall, the house needs a good deep clean! Sheets, towels, and amenities were all fine. However, all of the shower drains were full of hair, the drying mats were not clean, and corners of the house were very noticeably dusty. The fence needs a good power washing and the grass needed to be cut. The Golf Cart is fine! Just really shaky and the wheel is hard to turn. Loved that this house had a crib! The communication was good - and whenever I needed something the team was responsive. Overall, we had a great time!

Cute house but property manager sucked

The day before checking in, the property manager send us a message that the dryer was broken and they were trying to repair prior to us visiting. We get a notification the day of check in that the dryer wasn’t fixed because they had to order a part and it wouldn’t be in before our arrival and stay. They offered for us to use the laundering service. I asked them the evening of the first day how the laundry service worked. (We had some guests who had camped out the evening prior and that day of check in went to the beach so they had dirty clothes and beach towels). After multiple attempts, the person answering the chats kept telling us that she was checking with their operations team. They informed us we could only use their laundry service ONCE during our stay. I asked for daily because we intended on going to the beach daily but their management team said no. 2 days later of going back and forth with them on the laundry service (and keep in mind, we are handwashing out clothes in the sink daily) I called and complained about the lack of communication. The lady tells me before she schedules the laundry service she needed to send someone out to check the washer because maintenance told her it was fixed. Maintenance showed up a couple of hours later to confirm the washer was broken and it needs a part. They only let us use their laundry service once out of the 5 nights and we hand washed our clothes in the sink at night. Exactly what we didn’t want to do on vacation.

The property was spacious and plenty of sleeping space. Everything was clean and up to date. My reasoning for 4 stars is that the provided linens were sparse for a property that can accommodate 12 as well as the cooking ware. The pans were small and minimal which made cooking meals take a bit longer since cooking for a large amount of people.

Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at a property managed by Benchmark Management, and their communication leading up to our stay was fantastic—always quick to respond. They sent our check-in details a couple of days prior, and we were thrilled to get a notification that the house was ready a couple of hours early.From the moment we pulled up, we knew it was going to be a great week. Both the gate and door codes worked flawlessly. The house was immaculate, well-maintained, and looked exactly like the photos. Every family member loved their room, and the fenced-in backyard was absolutely perfect for our dog. We also loved having the golf cart, which we immediately took out to explore the beautiful grounds. We had an amazing time and even extended our stay by an extra night when Benchmark reached out with an offer!A few quick tips for future guests to help you prepare:Starter Supplies: As is typical with vacation rentals, they provide a starter set of amenities. If you are staying longer than a couple of nights, be sure to bring extra coffee filters, laundry/dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags.Parking: There is no public or street parking anywhere in this gated community (security will ticket you immediately, even for a 10-minute stop). The driveway can be tight if you have a large group. One spot is dedicated to the golf cart, but we managed to fit three SUVs by parking them sideways. It requires some car-shuffling, so just keep that in mind if you are traveling with multiple families.Beach Access:The listing features photos of gated beach access with a set of stairs within walking distance, but both gates require a code that the management team wasn't able to provide us even after directing us to this gate. Fortunately, we made do by using the golf cart to drop everyone off just past The Whale's Tale. If you have elderly or small kids, note that walking from the house to this point wou

Overall a good place to stay. The golf cart made it so much easier to get to the beach. Only issue was that the house was minimally stocked with toiletries so definitely bring your own especially toilet paper. The community pool was a little small but it was well kept. Additionally, the utensils in the kitchen such as the pans were pretty beat up so possibly bring your own if you plan on cooking. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the neighborhood.
