Communication with Beach Blue Properties before and during our stay was excellent, and the Guest Guidebook was very helpful. The condo was lovely and very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We loved having our coffee and cocktails on the balcony overlooking the spectacular view of the Gulf and sunset. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and long walks on the beach. It was a wonderful place to celebrate our 38th Anniversary! Cheers!

Wonderful Birthday Vacation

property was very clean, would highly recommend. Beautiful beach front views from the condo. Never had to reach out to property owner; description they listed on VRBO is exactly on point! Definitely would stay here again. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. Totally worth staying at this location.

Great trip

Everything was very clean and modern/updated/cute decor. The space worked out perfect for a family of five. Gorgeous view of beach and pool. Location is great close to local restaurants, shopping and Baytown wharf. Glad pool is heated and hot tub since we had a few windy days.

Wake up and Hear the Waves!

Overall, really enjoyed the condo and the location. First time staying in the Westwinds building, and we really enjoyed it! Only reason my review wasn’t 5 stars across the board was for mainly 2 reasons. First, the appliances were a little old and beat up. Specifically the and the washer dryer.

The poverty was very nice but the management gave me inaccurate information about the use of a golf cart and codes to get in. So that portion was disappointing.

The condo was nice, clean, and fairly basic. The WiFi was very slow. The pots and pans were limited and very scratched non-stick inexpensive brand. There were very limited towels, toiletries, and basic supplies. The owners did explain items were limited, but we’ve stayed in other condos that were much more thoughtful for guests

The Perfect Vacation (5 STARS)

Absolutely loved our time at this beautiful resort and condo. Everything was great with the exception of the master bedroom bed, very hard and a little uncomfortable. Beach Blue properties were easy to work with and responsive to my texts. My only comment is we did not receive a gate code to enter the resort (followed the car in front of us) and didn't know about the pool and beach access arm bands until my cousin advised us. I would include those 2 items on the welcome letter/access. The view was incredible from the deck, the perfect spot to watch the sunset as well. We will be back.

Beach Vacay

Overall the condo and property was amazing and we enjoyed every minute. The only major complaint is the master bed is so LOUD. Every time we would move in the bed it made so much noise. We have a 3 month old and it definitely made nights a little longer because you would roll over and the noise would wake her up. If you are a light sleeper or have little ones, I wouldn’t suggest staying here unless they note fixing or getting a new master bed.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 7th trip to Westwinds, first in this particular unit. We love the Westwinds property— beachfront location, resort style pool. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and activities closeby. This unit had an amazing view, but needed lots of TLC. The bed in the master bedroom had been previously broken and was poorly repaired, the side of the frame closest to the bathroom was not even attached; wooden slats were added underneath the bed, and where it was reattached on the far side of the bed caused it to be out of alignment with the other side— all this said, a relaxing nights sleep was impossible due to the constant creaking anytime you moved at all. Strongly recommend a new bed. There were no beach chairs or toys included, just a few nets. A few items would be nice. There was a great assortment of kitchen utensils, but no potholder. The bathrooms have not been updated, and the tile was showing signs of mildew/mold. The kitchen table was quite small for a family of four, while the kitchen chairs were way too big for the table. The linen closet and a cabinet in the kitchen were locked, and that created a sense of unwelcome mess. I’ve never stayed in a Westwinds unit with a locked kitchen cabinet?? We never had to reach out to the property management team during our stay, but all dealings with the company prior to our trip were pleasant. I will definitely return to Westwinds, but not to unit 4819.
