The property was everything and more, as advertised. We have been staying at various Destin rentals for over 25 years and this was the cleanest property we have ever walked in to. Check-in and check-out simple and flawless. Customer service/rental management, when called, friendly and very responsive. Only (very minor) change would be to supply more than one trash bag /lining for kitchen trash container. Definitely recommend this property!

The owner/manager was wonderful professional and delightful

I stayed for all most a month while my house was under renovation. Without this little cottage it could have been a miserable experience - but this is absolutely a darling place to stay. 10 Stars.

We decided last minute & everything from booking, checkin & checkout was a breeze. The Bungalo was clean and beautiful. It is stocked with everything you need. Even had golf putters & balls to use on the putting green located at the pool. The 2 golf carts were nice to have to take to beach, Wharf or cruising around the resort. Look forward to staying here again.

Can’t wait to go back! FantaSea is the perfect beach getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the FantaSea bunglo for 6 days for our family. We absolutely loved the decor, layout, amenities and comfort of the home! The neighborhood feel and short walk to the pool is another major perk. It was nice to lounge on the screened porch and drink coffee each morning. We had a group of 7, and could all sit comfortably for dinner at night. The beds were extremely comfortable with lots of extra pillows. Sandestin resort has so much to offer! Having two golf carts made it so easy to get around and fit all of our beach gear! Our vacation was a dream and we will definitely be back!

2024 Family Vacation

Reviewer Comments: We received a voicemail a month or 2 prior to arrival that 1 of the 2 golf carts was out of order and no ETA on it being fixed and no further communication received. Having 2 golf carts was one of the top 2 reasons we booked this property. Also, we received a call a couple hours prior to arrival that the washer was also out of order and were told a vendor would be out to repair the next day. I called the first 3 days for updates and the washer was still not repaired when we left this morning. Again, having a washer when vacationing at the beach is a high priority when booking a property. Other than these issues, our stay was great and would have given 5 stars

Wonderful family spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I enjoyed our stay at Fanta Sea. We love staying in Sandestin and using golf carts to go to the beach and the Grand Boulevard shopping/ eating areas. The property was very clean and updated. We enjoyed hanging out on the screened in front porch and the pool was just feet away from the house. The only issue we had was that the title for the listing had 2 golfcarts, which was the main reason we chose this particular house. We were traveling with 7 people. However, we were told prior to taking our trip that there would only be one golf cart and there was essentially nothing we could do as Sandestin does not allow for outside rentals. We were disappointed that the property management company could not offer us any sort of solution or compensation. By the time we found out about the issue, other properties were booked. We made the most of it and still had a great time!

Spring Break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay and the home was very nice. We had issues with the bathroom outlets not working but My Vacation Haven was very responsive to the issue. Once they came out and showed me where the breakers were I was able to take care of the problem a couple more times during the week. The biggest disappointment was the blue golf cart only going 13 mph and having rear suspension issues and not being able to use the back seats because the fenders would rub on the tires. The speed limit in the neighborhood is from 20-23 mph so you would get a long line of traffic behind you when driving around. They did come out to take a look and said they were aware of the problem from previous renters but there was nothing they could do to fix it. Again MVH was very responsive to the issue so we just made due with what we had. Overall it was a enjoyable vacation.

Do NOT book through My Vacation Haven

The property itself was wonderful. However, we would NEVER rent through My Vacation Haven again. I feel bad for the property owners as they do not know how My Vacation Haven is running their property. In April we were told the second golf cart was broken, it was a “quick fix” but they weren’t sure when it would be fixed. We talked with them and told them we rented the property ONLY for the (2) carts. We requested to cancel the reservation and we were told no. We were lead to believe there was a chance the second cart would be ready by June. I personally called My Vacation Haven several times checking on the status of the second cart. On 5/28 I called and I was told the second cart was being picked up to be serviced on 5/29 and it was a quick fix. I was told to call back on 5/31 and was told “as of 32 minutes ago, the cart arrived back at the property”. We arrived on 6/1, only to find one set of cart keys, I called the property manager only to be told that it was cart #1 that was ALSO broken (never told about that), but it was fixed and cart #2 was not working and will not be fixed until October. So we have been lied to this entire time and were never told Cart#1 was ALSO broken. We requested compensation for Cart#2, as we were mislead/ lied to on it being fixed. We were told that it was “a miscommunication on their end, but would not compensate us”. Would not recommend anyone to rent through them.. EVER!
