I stayed here in 2023 and came back for a few days this summer, and both times, had an excellent stay. I was very impressed with the service, the breakfast buffet. The hotel is a 10 min walk from Piola station, but the area is nice, and once you're on the train, it's easy to get anywhere.

The hotel is quiet and comfortable to sleep. The neighbourhood feels safe to walk at night. The breakfast with the hotel came with various options. Stuffs are friendly, particularly the lady who take your order for the coffee in the morning- always has a smile on her face. The hotel is 10 mins walk to La Piola and La Loreta which is the green and red line of the metro and can get to various place in Milan easily. One thing to note is the hotel plugs are predominantly type L We bought a type f adaptor and for our room there were two sockets of type F. One near the toilet and one under the desk.

The hotel was very nice. A bit far from the main area of Milan, and needed an Uber or Taxi to go back and forth. The breakfast buffet really needs to be reworked. For 3 mornings in a row, they served runny scrambled eggs, sausages and beans. I would also suggest that rather then having just a common area to iron your clothes, they should keep a few extra irons so guests can use them in the comfort of their own rooms.

Didn’t live up to expectations of price paid sadly. Perhaps ok if you get a cheap price but we didn’t. Our rooms were boiling hot as air conditioning was feeble. We had to ask for a window handle to open the windows- very odd system. We mentioned this to the staff but they just replied “ok”. Then had to suffer the noise of people sat outside on the terraces to the early hours drinking and shouting. We selected wizard rooms and paid the supplement of minibar included but they didn’t replenish it at all during the 4 nights there and even on arrival it wasn’t exactly overflowing- 1 snack each and 2 waters and 2 cokes. This was a common theme as none of the room facilities were replenished. We had to ask for more toilet paper and shower gel even as this was empty. Was excited to stay here but it just felt like costs were cut everywhere. The room had marks all over the walls and were dusty. I would recommend choosing somewhere else in Milan as this was dissapointing. Breakfast was included in our rate but we only went once as food wasn’t great- hot items like beans and sausages were cold and there wasn’t even cutlery out.

Importantly, I booked a room with the queen size bed and correctly informed them there be two people. After a long day of travel I got pretty schooled at the front desk and ended up paying about an additional 250 American dollars to be "upgraded" to a room with a larger bed because "Queen means single". I wish they were much more clear on the website or when I called the hotel to confirm my reservation. At all times they knew there would be two people so I felt a little taken advantage of at a time when I was not in a position to bargain. We actually do like this property, but we were there for sightsee and it is a couple of subway rides from the major areas. The property itself is very cool. The rooms are a little small but the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and we had an early train our last day they offered to get us breakfast boxes which were delicious to take with us and called a cab that was there in less than a minute. Although there is a lot of outdoor beautiful spaces, you really cannot just use them. In addition to being a guest hotel, they like you to be buying something from the coffee bar or the restaurant we were quite scolded for just bringing some food back to eat outside; we could not eat in our room because they were cleaning it.
