Hallways were so hot, I wanted to pass out. Not enough plug ins close to the beds, had to unplug the alarm clock or lamps to be able to plug n my phone. Beds were comfy though and it was quiet. Breakfast provided was fine.

We experienced a super unprofessional service with Super 8 Midland. We checked in on 31st of May and got extremely disappointed. We requested two connecting rooms during booking, and called twice, but did not get it. The lady in the reception never ask for apology for it. She was rude. But, overall we appreciate the cleanliness and the breakfast of the hotel.

Initially when we got to the room we were upset as there was young children above us that were constantly running and jumping in the floor. I understand children of course but my husband just came off of a night shift and needed to sleep so we requested a change of rooms. It was done without question and we were even upgraded to a better larger room! I was extremely impressed by the staff and speed in which this was handled! It will be our go to hotel in Midland going forward!

We arrived around 8:30pm. We reserved one room with a queen size bed and a twin size bunk bed, and one with a queen size bed and sofa bed. We reserved the rooms via Hotels.com. The staff at the front desk gave us two rooms, each with a queen size and a sofa bed. When I asked the staff why we could not have the rooms we reserved they explained that there was a golf tournament in town and that priority went to guests who were there for the tournament as to choice of rooms. The hotel was fully booked that night so changing rooms was not an option for us. Since we were able to accomodate our party in the rooms they gave us, we did not press the matter any further. When we got to the room in which we needed to use the sofa bed, the sofa bed was not made up so we had to make it ourselves. The room was on the first floor near the main entrance. A few doors down from the room there was a meeting room where many of the golf tournament guests were congregating. In addition, there were around 25 to 30 people who were congregating just outside the main entrance, as they could not smoke inside the hotel. This continued all evening until around 1:00am. The other room we were given was on the third floor right overtop the main entrance. The golf tournament guests were quite noisy, in the halls, in the nearby rooms, and in the main entrance area. As a result, we found it difficult to sleep. I could not sleep without ear plugs. Overall, our stay was not pleasant. We would not recommend.

This property is lept very clean. The girls were always mopping front area. Breakfast was wonderful. Always replenished The hottib had great jets. Both days I enjoyed hittib and swim. Then shower and bathroom right in pool area to rinse off. Pool towells were plentiful Rooms were clean and nice to have a table and 2 chairs

Enjoyed the stay at Super 8 Midland. Lots of dining options, easy walking to supermarkets, malls, coffee shops and to the local Hospital. The hotel is showing signs of wear and tear but the staff does a good job at keeping it tidy.

My stay at the hotel was for one week. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was great. The only thing I was disappointed in was the breakfast. They offered things like bagels, toast, waffles, cereal, hot cereal, coffee-tea. The main breakfast was eggs and sausage. Problem was they use either standard egg carton eggs or powered eggs, which were over cooked, this lead to the surface of the eggs turning hard so you had a mix of crunchy and watery eggs. The sausage is what you expect from a hotel breakfast, but serving them everyday was horrible. If they switched between sausage and bacon it would give variety. Last thing was there were no home fries served at breakfast, not once in the entire week. I completely understand food wasting, and the rising cost of food and supplies for the hotels, but these costs are factored in to the cost of an overnight stay. The hotel guest has these costs passed on to them through the cost of a nights stay. Just offer the standard breakfast with everything included or don't offer it at all.

Honestly thoroughly disgusted by my less than 2 hour experience at this hotel. My online check in was a waste of time as the hotel doesn't use it, and makes you check in again instead of just card pick up. Staff made no effort to advise of any hotel amenities such as pool details, breakfast and check out, etc. At first glance, room seemed clean. I booked this location for the hot tub. Got in the hot tub within 20 minutes of checking in. Lasted 5 minutes in hot tub. Ring of human film lined the whole hot tub. The gunk was quite heavy on the filter flap as well. Started to wonder when it was last cleaned. The water itself was also quite dirty. Noticeable flakes of skin and oil. Huge drying fan in pool area is so loud makes the space thoroughly ruined to enjoy. Went back to my room to get set up for the night. There is no where to plug in anything. Had to move furniture to get setup only to notice the streaks whatever has dried splashed all over the walls once I closed the blinds this was very visible in many locations. shower did not drain in the shower and the bathroom floor was dirty. I have now been told possibly up to 2 weeks before the hotel manager will return my call to advise if I will be charged for this stay which is also absolutely unacceptable I don't think I didn't see a single piece of furniture that wasn't damaged and trashy looking and the plastic cover at the front desk makes engaging staff challenging

We were to stay for one evening with our three children from April 19-20. First room 303 we were given had countless flies dead and alive on the inside window sill, second and final room 203 no flies just ants all over the walls and floor. I can’t imagine what else wasn’t cleaned.
