This was a perfect hotel for our first trip to Mexico City. It was conveniently located within walking distance to many sites and attractions. The hotel is very charming old Mexico, however, much of the furniture needs to be replaced as it is worn and very dated. We had a Jr. Suite in the middle of the hotel and the room was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable except for the carved wooden headboard. The in-house restaurant, Buenos Dios, was a great spot to start our day.

I highly recommend Hotel Geneve. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. An employee, Valente, was my favorite. All staff was super nice and ready to help when needed. The hotel was in a good location and was super safe to walk around. There are cameras at every corner and police presence. There was a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, and nightlife around. Everything was close by and an uber away. The rooms were outdated but clean. I would go back to Hotel Geneve.

This is a terrific hotel/museum with a storied history, beautiful woodwork and architecture, and a dedicated and friendly staff. I've stayed in many downtown CDMX hotels, and this just became my favorite. Zona Rosa and the Genova walkway (andador) is filled with shops, restaurants and street vendors. The area is showing it's age but feels safe and secure. We will definitely return. Este es un hotel/museo fantástico con una rica historia, una hermosa carpintería y arquitectura, y un personal dedicado, amable y ayudable. Me he alojado en muchos hoteles del centro de la Ciudad de México, y este se ha convertido en mi favorito. La Zona Rosa y el andador de Génova están llenos de tiendas, restaurantes y vendedores ambulantes. La zona ya se nota vieja, pero se siente segura. Sin duda, volveremos.

The hotel is well located a few blocks next to the Angel de la independencia, U.S. Embassy, Zona Rosa, lots of police, malls close by. The hotel is old but it has a lot of history. Safe area to stay around. I felt like I was back in time, like getting ready to board the titanic. Highly recommended

Overall disappointing. The hotel facilities are very old and the hygiene is poor. The surface of the chairs in the room is very dirty, with a lot of liquid stains, which is disgusting! The front desk service is generally good, but there is a female waiter who is not very friendly and very impatient.

It is a beautiful old hotel -museum. Food was average. Service was great. Huge rooms with all the basic amenities, no robes nor slippers. No swimming pool, the sauna wasn't advertised and the spa have just one therapist. No appointments available for all of us. Some area of the hotel are rented for events, so we have to surrounded the area. Is a good experience and the location is superb.
