Customer service was impeccable! The room was a little grubby upon arrival but the staff had it cleaned up without a fuss, I’m not sure if we were supposed to receive a glass of champagne on arrival or if that was club room exclusive as we didn’t receive this but notices others did, Beds were comfortable and view was quite nice as we could see some of the Docklands, Buffet breakfast was a little disappointing in my opinion, as the food was quite bland, but the heated pool and spa definitely made up for any cons! The parking is slightly inconvenient if you don’t have Valet, overall a comfortable stay and staff were lovely.

All in and all, it was a nice stay. Easy transport with the tram across the road to go into CBD. Staff were friendly. Rooms nice and clean. Buffet selection at breakfast was fantastic although they definitely need more seating, we had to wait 5/10 mins (not in school holiday time). Could be an issue in school holidays.

Absolutely awesome stay at this property. We were offered a champagne on check in and the hotel was so quiet, beds were comfortable and room was lovely. The heated pool and Aperol rooftop bar was the standout feature with a stunning backdrop and perfect temperature. The jacuzzi was also fantastic. My friend and I lost track of time just relaxing in this space and nearly missed our dinner reservation. The pool area also had complimentary sunscreen and chilled water and cups ready to keep hydrated. Parking cost was pricey so we parked nearby for overnight stay for half the price. Perfect overnight stay, would recommend and would definitely return!

Disappointing, I do not recommend, look elsewhere.

Overall, our stay was very disappointing and I expected a lot more from the Marriott brand. Positive points are friendly reception staff, smiling, welcoming and a very well appointed room, good decor and extremely clean in the room. However, I wasn't able to give a better cleanliness score as there wasn't enough staff to keep the pool and bar area clean during the time we visited. The number of children wasn't great if you are trying to project a high end hotel. It was a very family friendly place, thus for others reading it, don't come here if you are looking for a couples' relaxing escape. It was very messy poolside - we attended twice during the day - mid afternoon and 8pm and it was awful both times. Archer's was also extremely understaffed for dinner. The one waitress did the best job possible and she was friendly and courteous but you cannot expect her to deliver the service to the whole restaurant. Also, for quality you are trying to project, you might want to refresh your drinks menus as the paper is significantly frayed. Overall, a very disappointing stay and I will not recommend to friends and family. You also have poor maintenance on 6th floor as numbers to rooms are missing on right corner exiting the lifts. Please see photographic evidence.
