Great location and accomodations

Joe and Marlene were great hosts. Very responsive and accommodating. The location is beautiful and yes it's true that the beach is like having your own private beach. They have provided everything you could possibly need. We would return.

Comfortable and Cozy

Wonderful direct oceanfront location on Melbourne Beach. Owners were very helpful and responsive. The beach is quiet and secluded with miles of walking in either direction. It was a great surprise to see two right whales and dolphins just offshore. Right whales are endangered, so it was a rare treat to see them breaching only 400 feet away! Thank you for a memorable stay, Marlene and Joe!

We love the location, practically the whole beach for us! Meaning a mile of beach! The house was very cozy, clean, well prepared and with almost everything you’ll need at the beach! Not a luxury house, but great for a couple like us and our frenchie looking for a great place to relax!

It truly was an ocean paradise, the access to the beach was amazing. It was quiet and the turtles laying eggs all up and down the beach was something I've never seen. It was fairly secluded and daily walks up and down had plenty of wildlife, shells and beauty. You would stay here for the location, the house is well equipped for cooking and plenty of recreational equipment available from past guests. You are self sufficient and take care of your own housekeeping which is fine with me. Absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this property without question.

Quiet, uncrowded beach + turtle watching heaven

Perfect location if you want to get away from the crowds. Clean, well-maintained beach cottage and the hosts are friendly and helpful. And did I mention that from June-August you’ll see a lot of nesting sea turtles? Well worth the stay!

Absolutely wonderful

Lovely place to stay! Beach is amazing and super quiet. We loved it and will be back as soon as we are able. Very close to a Publix which was nice. But the best part was the beach it was so so quiet and so many wonderful turtle nests it was so awesome to see everything and enjoy the peace.

Getaway stay in Melbourne

We just got back from our week stay in Melbourne Fl. It started off questionable, at no fault of the owners of course! The seaweed was definitely… a lot. But we made the best of the trip. The accommodations were very clean and supplied with lots of beach supplies. They also provided a washer and dryer, detergent as well as other nice extras. The negatives were the decor is dated and the mattresses should be updated. But other than that, it was great place! We just wanted to getaway and relax and enjoy our time together and that’s exactly what we did. We absolutely LOVED setting on the deck watching the waves, reading and relaxing… I think this was my favorite thing about this place. It wasn’t anything elaborate, but it was peaceful and perfect and exactly what we needed!! I loved all the shells!! We enjoyed the area and took in a lot of different places. Thank you for a wonderful place to visit! We hope to return. ☺️

Location, location, location! This property is in a beautiful spot right on the beach with few other people sharing the sand. The kitchen is nicely outfitted and the inclusion of beach towels, chairs, and umbrella is a huge plus. Thanks for a fun stay!

Best Kept Secret

We were lucky enough to meet Joe & Marlene upon arrival. Lovely people! They were in the process of adding some throw cushions & other things to make the place even more comfortable. First, the location is incredible. Amazing value for what you get. It abuts protected land; hardly ever anyone on the beach. We saw dolphins, manta rays, pelicans, osprey, lots of shorebirds. The beach is loaded with shells & the sand is so white & fine, it squeaks when you walk on it! The triplex sits on a bluff where the gazebo offers shade & unparalleled views, yet the ocean is RIGHT THERE! The back yard is grass & has picnic tables, lots of lounging chairs (& great views). The property comes with every imaginable amenity. In the washer/dryer room you can find boogie boards, camp chairs, children's toys, whatever you can think you might need or enjoy! The house is the same. I've never stayed in such a well-equipped place. The kitchen is loaded with pots & pans (lots of storage) & every cooking implement you need. The closet has insulated beach bags, beach towels, etc. And the place was clean, clean, clean! Great hot water & shower pressure. Bedrooms have reading lights on BOTH sides of the beds. There's plenty of parking out front. A big Public grocery store is about 2 miles away as well as some restaurants. Yet, the area where the house itself sits is so quiet! I especially liked all the trails in the area. There are several parks for walking & biking. Bikes can be rented right in Melbourne Beach at Bob's Beach Bike Works - great people, great bikes, great rates. It was nice meeting the other people at the triplex. Mostly people interested in fishing come - I don't fish, but could see that a lot of fish were being caught!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the beach and surf. We also watched a Space X launch right from the gazebo! The owners were quick to respond to any of our needs! Highly recommend this property!

Very cute and comfortable condo on the beach. Has everything you need to feel at home. Very short drive to Sebastian inlet where my husband an father in law caught lots of different fish. Thankful for a relaxing getaway.

Double Treasure

Turtle run is such a sweet treasure and so are the owners! Both of the property and the owners are very special. There are three units so we got to make great friends with our neighbors. We all shared our very own private backyard that had steps leading right down to our very own private beach. There are boogie boards and beach chairs in the outside closet, a shower for coming off the beach, lots of outdoor seating. If you ever need anything Marlene and Joe are all over it in a heartbeat. They're the best! As a side note to anyone that's prone to being bit by noseeums bring or get plenty of bug spray because they're all over Florida in the grass.

Nature Lovers Paradise

Our family of 4 stayed at Turtle Run for 4th of July week. We had an amazing vacation! The beach was secluded and conveniently located steps away from the unit. The water was nice and a quick walk down the beach yielded some incredible shells. We were able to see dolphins and sea turtles swimming in the ocean, and during a nighttime beach walk we saw nesting sea turtles. The rental was comfortable and clean. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return to this amazing location!

Private perfection

We absolutely loved our vacation! The beach was not crowded. Many times we were the only ones on the beach. The property included everything we could have possibly needed, including chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc plus all the cleaning supplies, toilet paper, trash bags, etc The property manager checked in with us regularly and was easy to reach. We were blessed to see nesting turtles, dolphins, and even a small shark while swimming. We could not have asked for a better stay. Absolute PERFECTION! We will be back!

Excellent beach cottage

We had a great time at Melbourne Beach and the beach cottage was perfect. Very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. You basically have a private beach with only a few people on the beach at any time. This is a great place to see Sea Turtles nesting, viewing of lots of other sea animals and fishing. There is also a grocery store down the street and several restaurants. If you want a laid back place to relax this is the place! We will definitely be back.
