The rooms where supposed to be sound proof complete lie. you can hear everything from people next door to the other room doors slamming shut at all hours of the night. and it was humid and and so hard to sleep. the beds omg if you like sleeping on thin bed of springs you would love it I did not. And there was mold and mildew on the bottom of the bathroom door in my room and around the shower.

We loved our stay. The room and bed were very comfortable. The food was excellent! The service was outstanding. We stayed one night and were enjoying ourselves so much, we asked them to extend it so we could stay another night. They were very accommodating and even kept us in the same room so we didn't have to check in again or even leave the hotel. A very relaxing stay with great shopping all around.

We loved our stay. The room and bed were very comfortable. The food was excellent! The service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend staying here . We stayed one night and asked them to extend it so we could stay another night we were enjoying it so much!

Our smoke alarm battery was low and was beeping every 5 mins. We got a new room to sleep in but the kids couldn’t fall back asleep so we were up before the birds for the day. There is also no privacy with glass doors for the bedroom suite.

The walls in the room had gross stains down them, the air conditioner was broken, there is no hot tub. The breakfast was very off compared to other hotels. We came to medicine hat to visit our close friends, they were not aloud to come visit us and swim. No option to pay either. Very basic. Much better options in town. The water slides are very slow, people were literally piling up on each other the whole time. Just very outdated and old.

Staff was great and they are working with what they have. The hotel is tired and needs a total upgrade. The current owners have it for sale and are not putting any money into it, is what I was told. The breakfast was decent and the staff there was great again. The once great Lodge, is not what it once was.

The water slides were such a highlight for the kids. This place may be slightly dated, but it’s still an excellent place to stay, super clean, great amenities and one of the nicest hotels in Medicine Hat.

Property has really gone downhill. Stairwells need vacuumed, mouse traps laying around, railings on all levels full of cobwebs, pool not as pictured anymore, beds very uncomfortable and only 2 pillows. Can tell it was a great spot once in time but pretty sad staye now.

Plug in room was melted, roof in resturant leaked on my daughter when we were eating, they came with a bucket then didn't use it and said thats a maintenance problem and walked away. 30 min we watched a other family sit there and it dripped on them as well. The loby also had leaks. Pool was cold but kids liked it. No hot tub so be aware of that.

The furniture and curtains were very worn and torn, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Not very insulated for sound as we could hear our neighbor sneeze.

We like to book this hotel specifically for the water slides that my kids enjoy, I do wish the pool water could be a little bit warmer
