Rooms on the upper floor need to be updated similar to those on the lower floor. Breakfast is dreadful, same cold overcooked eggs and sausages floating in broth each day. There is never anyone at the front desk, you call the number on the sign and it rings forever, no answer and no one makes an appearance. If you are in a room at the far end of the hall you will be lucky to have it cleaned before 6pm, came back most days and simply asked for new towels. Additional daily charges added on, did not honor the price I booked with on Expedia - and no explanation to why.

Great location that's easy to find and convenient. As a business traveller I had a couple of issues. One, the office chair in the room wouldn't height adjust and the work surface is quite high so it was awkward to work on my laptop. Second, the bath tub tap drips for hours after the water is shut off. Fortunately I usually where earbuds at night so only a minor annoyance while watching the Blue Jays win their game. Thirdly, The shower only gave luke-warm water even when turned to hot. Again not the end of the world but I know some people prefer a hot shower in the morning. Also, the bathroom was tiny. So tiny that it was difficult to stand in it and close the door. I must say this room was inexpensive so for the price and with their decent breakfast it's a reasonable value.

I didn't appreciate all the texts during my stay. I was texted at 7:30 am asking me when I was planning to check out. Really? If check out is 11:00 am assume the customer may stay until that time and does not appreciate being egged on to leave earlier. If that is an issue with cleaning staff, maybe hire accordingly.

The hotel looks nothing like the photos advertised. The food buffet was mediocre, the waffle maker didn’t work and there was no healthy food options (just toast and an apple). Also not very family oriented. My children and I had to be seperated as we ate because there was no space for us to all sit together.

Stayed here during Covid awhile back and enjoyed it so we had to come back. Only thing I’m disappointed on this trip is that the girl doing the breakfast wouldn’t let me take food back to the room as they didn’t want to go collect the plates. My bf likes to sleep in and usually misses the breakfast so I like to grab stuff for him and bring it back. Well I managed to be creative. Maybe if they don’t want plates going back to the room then maybe they should get take out containers
