The Internet was not working the way it should’ve been trouble with the elevator this was the first hotel I’ve been to the charges for a pool and Jacuzzirooms are too small overall I was not happy with hotel

The hotel is really calm and has a relaxing vibe. The rooms are a bit small but we weren’t there much so it was okay for what we needed it. The terrace has a really nice view of the city.

This boutique hotel was very nice and centrally located to all that Medellin has to offer. Favio at front desk was very helpful. I highly recommend the suite with hot tub, definitely worth the money.

I had a fantastic stay at the Wellcome Hotel in Medellín, Colombia. The location was perfect—easily accessible to the metro station, as well as nearby coffee shops and restaurants. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated that the hotel is in a safe area. While the room was small, it was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I was also grateful that the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The daily breakfast on the terrace was made to order and absolutely delicious. Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Although there was no in-room coffee or tea service, the coffee at the terrace restaurant was excellent. During my time in Medellín, I stayed at two different hotels, and the Wellcome Hotel was by far the better of the two. I initially planned to stay for four nights but ended up extending my stay for two more nights because I enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Good hotel right in the center of El Poblado. We had a room without a window and would not recommend that! They had a spa but nobody told us before that you have to reserve a spot for the day, so we weren’t able to use it because there is no space for spontaneity. Breakfast was great :)

Property was nice. The personnel also was very friendly. My only concern were the breakfast. Very limited breakfast and starts to late (7AM). There is no coffee or any drinks before this hour at any place in the hotel. The rooms does not count with coffee machine either. All restaurants were close on Monday.

Great location but small, loud, with BEDBUGS!

I am not sure how this place gets 4 stars - I would give it 2 at best and that's being generous because of location. There was a party on the rooftop with very loud music the day I arrived making it impossible to sleep. Even when the music from the hotel was turned down, there was still loud music from another hotel across the street (which was also a disturbance the other nights) or just from the street itself. There is zero soundproofing so you hear everything. The room is very small with almost no space to move around the bed. I couldn't fully open my luggage without hitting a wall, window, or furniture. You can set the bathroom lights to different colors, which the staff seemed to think was a cute feature but I found it creepy, especially since the "normal" light is actually terrible lighting. The worse part was that there are bedbugs! I woke up with red bite marks all over and saw an adult bedbug crawl on the bed upholstery. Unless you are a hipster in their twenties coming only to party, I would not recommend, and even then, you'd probably be better off in a hostel. The only redeeming factor is the central location.

The property and room were great!! The area was wonderful to walk around and explore. My girlfriend loves to shop and there was a lot of stores within walking distance or a cheap cab or uber!! The dining options were EVERYWHERE and the food at WellCom was 4/5. It was loud with music from across the street but that didn’t bother me, but it could with some. The only issue I had was the safe didn’t open and I asked twice and nobody came to fix it. I will definitely go back. The spa was amazing, the staff was great!!

Super loud and small

Cute hotel. Good breakfast. There was an extraordinarily loud party the first night on the roof when we were exhausted from traveling and wanted a nap and an early night. The front desk was incredibly unhelpful and ignored our requests to moderate the volume. We later asked for a manager to speak with us about it and no one ever did. The room is comfortable but tiny, with barely room to walk around the bed even though it is called a suite. And the spa costs like 50 dollars to use the jacuzzi and sauna for 45 minutes, which seemed so short we didn’t bother. It’s a convenient location but I would not go back.
