Wonderful stay in quite surrounding

This was the second time that we went to this house and we had a very nice stay. The house is up in the hills, but it is surrounded by nature, and it is very quite and peaceful. The garden is very very big and is completely fenced in, which is a bonus for those who have a dog just like we do. We did some hiking with our dog and enjoyed the view down to the city.Within 30 minutes we were at the sea.The landlord is very nice and attentive.We can really recommend this place.

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne entspannte Wochen in der Via del Meto! Und unsere Hündin hat die Zeit auch sehr genossen!Ein sehr hübsches Haus und ein fantastisches umzäuntes Grundstück mit Oliven- und vielen Obstbäumen. Es liegt abseits von Ortschaften und Verkehr sehr ruhig auf einem Berg auf ca. 300m Höhe. Wer schon einmal in Norditalien mit dem Auto unterwegs war weiß, dass die Straßen, die in die Höhe führen, irgendwann „etwas enger“ werden. Für uns war es nicht das erste Mal, insofern waren wir nicht überrascht und Massimo hat uns auch die absolut richtige Route genannt (wir sind mit einem großen Mercedes SUV unterwegs gewesen). Empfehlenswert ist aus unserer Sicht daher prinzipiell die Anfahrt über Camaiore, auch weil es dort einen sehr gut sortierten Supermarkt gibt. Das Grundstück ist auch mit großem Auto befahrbar, das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Hinweis vielleicht an deutsche Urlauber - TV hat nur italienische Sender. Aber es gibt ausreichendes WLan und eine recht stabile Funkverbindung (hat man auch nicht immer ).Für uns besonders schön war die überdachte Terrasse - wir haben jeden Abend draußen gesessen und gegessen (und am späten Abend haben uns dann die Glühwürmchen besucht ). Massimo ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der immer ansprechbar ist und sich sofort um jedes Anliegen kümmert, ohne irgendwie aufdringlich zu sein.Also für uns alles bestens!Einziges „Manko“ vielleicht: Es gibt sehr viele Mücken!

Entspannung in ländlicher Ruhe

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen: den schönen, ruhigen Garten, der oberhalb des Hauses auch eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Viareggio und das Meer bietet; die Nähe zu Viareggio, Lucca und den Stränden bei Torre del Lago; und nicht zuletzt die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Massimo, dem Vermieter.

Vers nice stay!

We hsve stayed 1 week, and enjoyed it very much. The land-lord was very nice and attentive! The house is way up in the back-hills, ca 30 minutes distance from the sea. The drive up to the house is quite adventurous with many serpentines to drive. So, you better do your shopping before you drive up to the house. But we liked it very much. It is very quiet, there is a fantastic garden which is very big, so, it was also perfect for our dog. We did some nice hiking immediately starting from where we stayed. We can very much recommend this house.

Casa Il Banano - Schiff auf dem Monte del Meto

Kurzum, unser erster Urlaub in diesem Haus in der Toskana war umwerfend und wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Wir, das sind zwei Erwachsene und ein 70kg schwerer Leonberger Rüde. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch ohne Italienischkenntnisse kommt man mit Englisch, Französich oder Portugiesisch gut zurecht. Es war eine Freude sie kennenzulernen! Das Anwesen liegt ganz oben auf dem Monte del Meto. Die Anfahrt und Abfahrt ist auf befestigten normalen teilweise kurvigen/steilen Straßen ein klein wenig Abenteuer, die letzten 100 Meter geht es über Privatstrasse. Das Haus selber ist wie auf den Bildern wundervoll eingerichtet. Die Möbel und ein paar andere Details erinnern irgendwie an das Innere eines Schiffs… Der große In mehreren Ebenen angelegt Garten ist naturbelassen und bietet Oliven-, Kirsch- und Zitronenbäume, viele Kräuter und Gemüse. Von der oberen Hälfte des Grundstücks hat man einen schönen Blick auf Viareggio und das Meer. Von Haus aus sieht man viel Grün und die weiter unten liegenden Dörfer. Zu der Zeit unseres Urlaubs (Mai-Juni) war der Garten abends und nachts von tausenden von Glühwürmchen durchschwärmt. Ein wirklich schönes Schauspiel. Zur Umgebung: Lucca, Pisa und Viareggio liegen recht nah und sind auf jedenfalls sehenswert. Die Cinque Terre im Norden eignet sich für einen Tagesausflug, vor allem mit den dort verkehrenden Schiffen. Die Bäckerei Il Forno in Piano di Conca bietet sehr gutes Brot & Kuchen!

Sehr schön, gerne wieder!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Massimo und seiner Frau begrüßt! Das Haus war sehr sauber und auch der Garten sehr gepflegt. Im Haus fanden wir einen großzügigen Obstkorb und eine sehr gut ausgestattet Küche mit vielen nützlichen Utensilien vor. Auch der Rest des Hauses war sehr gut ausgestattet (genügend Ablagefläche, Haken, ein Eingangsbereich, saubere Handtücher, Seife, Toilettenpapier etc.). Wir haben das Haus mit zwei Kleinkindern (3 Jahre und 5 Monate alt) für eine Woche bewohnt. Für Kleinkinder war es hervorragend geeignet, da das Grundstück eingezäunt ist und die Kinder so laut toben konnten, wie sie wollten. Lage: Das Grundstück liegt etwas versteckt am Ende einer recht holprigen Straße. Wir haben den Weg mit unserem Touran jedoch gut befahren können. Für die Kinder war die tägliche Fahrt etwas beschwerlich, da die Straße sehr von Serpentinen geprägt ist. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist ca. 15 min Autofahrt entfernt, der Strand in ca. 25 min erreichbar. Die Strandbäder sind alle sehr sauber und mit 30 EUR/Tag mehr als erschwinglich. Wir würden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Da es in den Bergen gelegen ist, sind dort natürlich Moskitos unterwegs (wie überall), aber denkt dennoch an genügend Autan. :-) Vielen Dank an der Stelle an Massimo und seine Frau!

Sehr ruhige, tolle Lage in Mitten der Natur

Schönes naturbelassenes Anwesen, komplett eingezäunt, gute Erreichbarkeit mit großen SUV

Tolles komplett eingezäuntes Grundstück. Für unseren Hund (20kg) und uns sehr entspannend. Im Haus waren an jedem Fenster Moskitonetze vorhanden. Küche war gut ausgestattet. Auch Grillen und Pizza backen hat gut funktioniert. Für italienische Verhältnisse gute Erreichbarkeit des Objektes auch mit größerem Auto problemlos. Sehr netter und fürsorglicher Vermieter, mit dem man sich gut in englischer Sprache verständigen konnte. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne dort wieder unseren Urlaub verbringen.

Eine Oase der Ruhe

Das kleine Haus liegt ganz oben auf dem Monte Meto inmitten eines riesigen Olivengartens mit Obstbäumen, Blumen und einer herrlichen Aussicht auf die Versilia und das Meer vom Rande des Gartens aus. Hier kann man sich fernab vom touristischen Trubel wunderbar in Liegestuhl oder Hängematte erholen. Zum Meer fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 20 Minuten. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Wer den Berg nicht scheut, kann von hier aus sehr schön Rennrad fahren. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
