Is it possible to holiday on the Amalfi Coast without the crowds?



The answer is a definite yes at Villa Ad Maiora, set on the road between Massa Lubrense and the beach at the pretty fishing village of Marina della Lobra. You’ll find bars and restaurants in both places, and only 5km separating the villa and Sorrento, but if you enjoy pocket-sized beaches and hilltop hamlets connected by ancient mule tracks, this is the place for you.



Access the villa (200m²), through an electric gate followed by a steeply descending 300m private lane. Please bear in mind that this is a steep descent not suitable for elderly or guests with mobility issues.



Spend your days lounging on sofas and sun beds on the private terraces, admiring the extraordinary views across the Gulf of Naples and Capri, or wander down to the beach of Marina della Lobra along a private path (60 steps) and on to a waterfront footpath. Make a barbecue or enjoy the pool table.



The upper floor features an amazing dining room with views overlooking the terrace. Furniture includes sofas and a dining table and chairs for 8.

There’s ample space for everyone, including a well-equipped kitchen. On the lower floor there is a beautiful living room with large windows overlooking the sea with a fireplace, SAT TV and one double sofa bed.

• Bedroom 1: one pull-out bed that can become one double or two sing beds. French balcony with sea view. TV, ceiling fan and heating.

• Bathroom 1: Shower, toilet, sink, wc, bidet and hair drier. Access from the hallway.

• Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom: double bed, TV, ceiling fan and heating. Small balcony with the view of the sea.

• Bathroom 2 (en-suite to bedroom 2): Shower, toilet, sink, wc, bidet and hair drier.





A 16-step staircase leads to the lower floor landing.



LOWER FLOOR



• Bedroom 3: double bed, heating, fan, TV. Windows overlooking the sea.

• Bathroom 3: Shower, toilet, sink, wc, bidet and hair drier. Access from the hallway.
