We were in the building with one other guest! It was quiet and very comfortable! The breakfast meal was superb! The young woman that prepared the food was an artist! I have never had an omelet so light and tasteful! The Rose Room had a private balcony, that allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the weather! I definitely will stay there again!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay celebrating our 15th anniversary in Mason City. Well designed old home with winding staircase. Breakfast was delicious and could accommodate vegetarian diet. Very comfortable bed. And the home is in great location- enjoyed visiting music man square and museum very nearby. I tried booking directly with the owner but had trouble connecting so ended up booking through this third party vendor, which ended up working fine.

Nice get-away in Mason City, Iowa.

A very lovely Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in The Lily of The Valley room. It was a good room at the top of the stairs, perfect for a couple. The queen bed was very comfortable and provided a good night sleep. The bathroom was clean with a walk-in shower. House cats were very friendly and welcoming. Waking up to the smell of breakfast being prepared was divine and it tasted as good as the aroma. The residence is within walking distance of the lovely downtown and just around the corner from the Meredith Wilson (The Music Man) boyhood home. Would definitely book it again.
