BACCHUS (Roman God of Wine) is where we like to spend time relaxing, drinking wine and getting away from city life. Our sanctuary is a 3 bed, 2 bath, with open plan living, sliding doors which open to a 100m2 deck with great indoor/outdoor flow to relax. Award winning vineyards, Martinborough Brewery and local shops 10min walk away. Use the 20m heated communal salt water pool (pool closed April to end of October), tennis court, Petanque court & trampoline.

Open plan living, modern kitchen with all modern appliances including dishwasher. This is open to the lounge and dining areas. From the lounge and dining room you can access the 100m2 deck through large sliding doors facing the west.

This property is fully fenced and pet friendly at an additional fee. Please send us a message if you would like to bring a pet along and we just ask that you blankets/beds for them to be on.

The square is just a short walk for you to head in and have dinner at Circus Cinema Restaurant, amazing pizza at Little Square Pizza, or tasty burgers at 5711 located in the square, have coffee at Neighbourhood cafe or meet the locals over bacon and eggs at Kitcheners.

Martinborough boasts itself on incredible vineyards... take yourself to some of our favourites - Moy Hall, Colombo Martinborough, Schubert Wines, Luna Estate and On Giants' Shoulders. Great for tastings and for lunch.

Just half an hour's drive from Martinborough is Lake Ferry, a sleepy beach village on the shores of Lake Onoke where it empties into rugged Palliser Bay.

Go fishing with views of the South Island, try catching whitebait if you're here in spring - or just enjoy a sunset dinner at the Lake Ferry Hotel.
