This is a great base from which to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds and east coast, with some excellent walks and cycle routes straight from the door. The Georgian market town of Louth and Horncastle, famous for its antiques shops, are both within easy reach. Take a trip to the coast, and visit the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe with their sandy beaches. Spend a day out in Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, castle and the Magna Carta Visitor Centre, and enjoy lunch in one of the many cafés and restaurants to be found in the Bailgate area. Beach 25 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
