Bed bugs in a rustic setting
Pros:
- 1 block from the beach
- balcony with views to a road and audible from those visiting the staff
- staff communicates on all things related to your stay and steps before you leave
- amenities: pool, tennis court, beach chairs, shade, pickleball etc
- working utilities*
Cons
- bed bugs on the couch: I lied down on the couch for an afternoon nap and everywhere that my body made contact with the couch had bug bites. I notified the staff and they asked if they should treat it in the middle of my stay or give me an air bed, I declined due to the plans we had for our vacation and they agreed to take care of the inconvenience after the stay to which I agreed nbecause of the very small area in the room. We had to cramp all 4 in 1 bed. After my stay the over communicating crew stopped responding to my texts. After 2+ weeks of texting them they sent a text stating with" stating again no need bugs were found". Not only did their facility affect my vacation, it goes true to hold these folks accountable at the time of the issue and not to trust them!
- many of the lights were burned out and I asked the crew for spares and they were able to get a few misfits. They said they would fix it later. Good luck to the next occupants
- they give consumables for a 2 night stay regardless of how many nights you stay.
