Watch for hidden fees!!

While the property was generally as expected, we encountered two major issues that significantly impacted our experience. First, at check-out we were charged an unexpected $60 in parking fees ($30 per night) that were not disclosed at the time of booking. We specifically chose this resort based on the price and the assurance that all resort fees were included in the total quoted by Hotels.com. Being charged an additional amount at check-out felt misleading and unfair. We raised the issue with the front desk, but the resort refused to waive the charges. Had we known about these fees, we would have chosen a different property. Second, on the second night of our stay—our 25th wedding anniversary—we experienced a frustrating situation with our room key. The key suddenly stopped working after hours. Thankfully, my wife was still in the room and was able to let me in. However, this issue meant we were unable to leave the room together as planned. I had to make two separate trips to the front desk, and ultimately waited nearly an hour for a maintenance worker to come to our room and replace the battery in the door lock. This incident disrupted our evening plans to enjoy time together by the water at the resort's dock, which was one of the highlights we were looking forward to. This was a special trip for us, and it was disappointing to have it marred by both unexpected charges and a significant inconvenience on such an important night.

Great midway location to relax and visit the FL Keys. The property is extremely clean, nice well maintained. The resort feels very secluded yet has easy access to Highway 1. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean with a nice furnished balcony facing the ocean. The food was excellent - it is on the pricey side so keep this in mind when you visit. They also have a large marketplace which offers less expensive food options and specialty coffees and beverages. There is a large family pool with menu service as well as three other smaller pools (plus a beach) if you prefer a more quiet location to swim and soak up the sun. We saw people in every age group including couples/familes/extended families. We loved the resort and highly recommend if you’re looking for a more upscale and pampered environment while visiting the Keys.

We went for a mother-daughter trip and it was amazing! Everyone that works there could not be any nicer and food was delish! We went in June and were able to find chairs easily every day and found it to be really quiet and restful.

The resort is a great spot to disconnect and relax. We were lucky that the weather was perfect the weekend we visited. One of the highlights was relaxing on a hammock, enjoying the breeze, reading a good book and enjoying a delicious cocktail. The beach area was underwhelming (not sure that's the resort's fault but it was one of the things I was looking forward to). And the resort's signature restaurant wasn't as great as it could be - on both menu variety and food quality (the service was really great). But I would still recommend a stay in this resort.

After staying here I would never go back. We completely paid for the stay up front and after they sent a bill for over $1200 in convenience fees. They charged $30 a night for parking which apparently is not included when you book a 5 night stay. They never stated at any point they would charge that. I would not recommend staying here for any family.

its a safe environment is clean some noise. cannot close the room from the back sliding doors and is need it. the beach is too small and not deep and is not located in back of the rooms. too many mosquitos. no entertainment no music no game rooms no billiards nothing to do after 5pm only one restaurant and you need reservation. they charge extra daily for parking and extra for resort fee. is like 80 dollars a day extra for parking and fees is alot for no entertainment no beach access from your room.

Fabulous gem! This hotel is beautiful and provides an amazing set of pools and amenities to enjoy throughout the property. We enjoyed the free rental bikes and went to the old 7 mile bridge area for some cool views. Also loved having a private beach front area, the 4-5 pools, the sunsets and hammocks around the resort. The Market had great options for breakfast, lighter meals and snacks. All the staff were very friendly. The resort was beautiful.
