This place is a true little gem. I got the solo little separate unit and loved it. Private and right on the edge of the jungle. Charlie is a super cool guy as well. Pura Vida!

Great house with privacy and good views. Would be a great romantic get away spot. Waking up surrounded by jungle was cool. Carlos was super nice and saved my trip getting my into a last minute tour when the park entrance tickets were sold out. The road up to the property is steep and not totally paved and the driveway is very steep. This is common in Costa Rica but you should be confident with your driving skills. Close enough to everything but private and quiet.

Host is accommodating, but property very basic
The owner is trying to do his best, and it's by the edge of the jungle so animals might appear (but certainly not everyday), and it's kind of a unique jungle experience. Main things to watch out for: - Must have a tall car to get to this place, it's very bad road - Not suitable for two people: very small place, no AC, bed is very small and everything smells of sweat - Limited amenity, no wardrobe, no shelf in the bathroom - Noisy roosters and dogs in the morning

The house is very spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located around the major attractions. The host is very helpful and responds to questions right away. There's AC in the main room and one of bedrooms so, we were very cool even when it was hot outside. I love the location, you get a flavor of local living. The beach and grocery stores are about 10 min away. This is the perfect location to visit Manuel Antonio.
