We loved the property!! Even tho hurricane Helena was in full force. I wish we could've spent more time outside. We will definitely come back!! Cabin 3 was so clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable and it was well stocked. Loved it

Family Getaway

Absolutely wonderful! The cabin was perfect for our family! Our 9 year old enjoyed the loft, everyone enjoyed the porch, fishing, and peaceful setting. Cabin 3 has an amazing view. We plan to come again!

Very clean and impressive property.

Clean and well-equipped cabin overlooking a small pond. Owners were very cooperative and helpful. Unfortunately, we had bad weather and opted to leave early because pretty much all activities in the area are outdoors. After we used our cave tour tickets and found out that tours for the next few days were sold out, it didn't make sense to stay longer. Definitely rent a cabin on the lake. We were on a very small pond, and it was not what we expected. The waterfall and trail to get to it are amazing and on a par with Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio.

Beautiful cabin and property!

We came to spend a few days at mammoth cave, and we had just as much fun hiking the trail to the waterfall and cave on the property as we did at mammoth cave. The cabin was clean, bed we’re comfortable and there was plenty of room for my husband and I and our three teenagers! Highly recommended this place!

We had a great time at the Mammoth Cave Cabin! The area is beautiful and we’ll come back another time. The cabin setting is out in the rolling Kentucky hills with hiking trails on property. Our cabin comfortably fit our needs. Thank you!

Wonderful experience

The cabin was perfect. Our son loved his time here so much he said “this cabin is better than Christmas and parties”. Loved the ponds for fishing and the hiking around the property. Cabin had everything we needed and more - and the owners were very welcoming. Great experience overall.

Christmas time

Family stayed here after Christmas in transit home. Stayed two nights to visit MCNP. Took advantage of hiking trails on property. Cabin is perfectly comfortable and secluded with all amenities necessary for an extended stay, especially with kids.

Fantastic place to stay!

This place is so lovely! The cabin is well designed, clean, and new. The views are stunning. The fishing is really good - so nice for the kids to have easy success. The hosts are very gracious. Not intrusive at all but available any time with anything to help make your stay better. We used to go to the Smokies regularly but thanks to this place, we’ll be making our regular trips to Mammoth Cave and staying here instead. Absolutely blown away by this beautiful property! Our kids LOVED it and spent the whole time outside - never even asked for screens. Even my teenager said this was the best family vacation he’s ever had - and if this place can impress a teenager it can impress anyone.

Serene Setting

Peaceful, cozy cabin overlooking two small fishing ponds. Amazing view, especially in the quiet of the morning. Larger pond/lake on the property for fishing, swimming, kayaking, etc. was about a ten minute walk or quick drive. Our kids loved it! The fish were biting and they enjoyed manning their own kayaks. Would definitely recommend! Dagmar, our contact for the property was quick to respond. Thank you for letting us enjoy the property!

Family Mammoth Cave Vacation

Rental, arrival, and departure process was very easy. Host responded quickly to questions before and during our visit. This is a very peaceful property and the cabins are well appointed. Due to road construction during our stay, we did not get to the lake on property, but we did enjoy the on property cave (waterfall was dry). We were close to Mammoth Cave tours and also visited Onyx Cave and Nolin Lake Beach. Nice place to stay and would stay again if in the area.

Fun at “pond house”

Nicely decorated cabin on a small pond stocked with catfish. Dagmar was a wonderful hostess. Immediate responses and even provided a loaner fishing pole when one of ours broke The kids loved the fishing and caught several during our stay Highly recommend. Very convenient to Mamouth Cave by taking the little car ferry

All-inclusive family fun

Beautiful property with tons of summer fun for our family - private hiking trails with waterfall, stocked ponds to fish, and a beautiful lake with brand new everything - kayaks, floats, swim docks. Cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Kids loved the loft and games too!
