Fantastic property ,,well equipped ,very clean, beautiful views ,location perfect in lynmouth close to restaurants and pubs and lots of walks . Once we arrived we parked out car in carpark with ticket provided and we didn't move it for weekend so many walks from lynmouth perfect base ,would stay again and highly recommend, only thing I would suggest is make sure you bring any supplies as no convenience shop in lynmouth there is one in lynton which is very near tho .

Lovely house set up high with beautiful views, very clean and everything there you need. Five minute walk to harbour point, which you can see from the house! Or you can cross the bridge below and walk up the river through the woods to watersmeet. Hosts are exceptional and even left Easter treats for our children, cannot recommend highly enough!

Perfect location a little way up the gorge so great views but also very quiet. Beautifully renovated cottage with plenty of space, all the mod cons while retaining a lot of character features (heated bathroom floors a particular bonus!) No problems with parking, just a few minutes down the hill and a parking permit allowed access to a few different car parks which was helpful. Great places to eat including The Blue Ball at Countisbury and The Ancient Mariner in Lynmouth. Close to the many attractions in North Devon and plenty of walks on Exmoor with incredible views.

We spent a wonderful week at Lorna Doone Cottage for our honeymoon in July 2021. We received the warmest welcome possible and were made to feel so special! The cottage was absolutely beautiful. It had obviously been recently renovated and very comfortable while retaining all of its charm and character. It was very well furnished and equipped - comfortable beds, excellent showers and a kitchen which had everything we needed. There were incredible views from every window, and particularly the balcony, where we spent several evenings watching the sun set over the harbour. Beverley was so kind and helpful, offering us advice on things to do and see in Lynmouth and the surrounding area. There were plenty of guides and maps in the house to help us plan our days. We would love to visit again in future and will treasure the memories we have of our stay!

Lovely property in a lovely location

Great property for a family of four. Great location looking down the river into Lynmouth. Near lots of other places including good walks along the river. Would recommend to friends and would love to stay again at some point in the future.
