amazing hotel, great atmosphere, staff are fantastic not near the centre but this is what I wanted however the breakfast was a joke, eggs eggs or eggs and the buffet was tiny, the chef was unable to make any traditional Ukrainian breakfast items for me, and for the price and quality of this hotel a massive let down

Great hotel, great price.

Just far enough out you’ll want a taxi for transport to the city. I kinda liked that though. Nice view from hotel, quiet area. English speaking staff. I have 0 complaints about my stay here.

Good Hotel. But don't expect too much of Lviv!

Very nice hotel - don't be put off as you travel to it through a run-down area. Room was great. Breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant one evening which was pleasant. Reasonable prices - except the steak - which I paid £35 for (the menu is misleading as it is £10 per 100g!). £35 is not too bad in UK, but by Ukrainian standards it is a fortune Hotel will taxi shuttle you into Lviv centre for less than £3. Lviv itself was a little disappointing. We had heard so many positive things, but for us, it didn't live up to the hype. We preferred Kiev and especially Odessa. The receptionist was a little cold, but all the other staff were great.

Cosy hotel not far from the city center

We spent only two nights in the hotel on our way from Kharkiv to Europe in first days of May. I can't say it is a cheep hotel, instead it is pretty expensive comparing to other hotels in Ukraine, especially on holidays when they raise the prices. However, taking into account that it is a five star hotel I am glad that I chose this one. We arrived at night and it was raining. But we were met by a complaisant guy who took our baggage and showed us our suite. It was a quite big and comfortable suite with beautiful furniture and everything needed. Next two mornings we had breakfast. There were cold and hot dishes for breakfast, but you need to wait for omelet (for example) while it is being cooked. The staff was polite and the food was tasty though the assortment of dishes was not wide. We were waiting for the hot dishes longer than expected on first day but it was not a big deal. We traveled with a daughter who likes pancakes. Unfortunately, there were no pancakes included, but you might order them for extra fee. We did it, and our daughter was happy. There is a small but cosy territory around the hotel and the private parking . And, what we liked the most, is several scale models of famous Ukrainian and some other castles made from stones. We had visited some of them before, so we found the models pretty similar to the originals. There is free WiFi accessible in suites and public places, it worked well. I would stay another time here, but use another road to get :)

Though this hotel really tries and the staff really want to please, you can not call this a 5 star property it is a 4 max. The staff were awesome and really wanted our stay to be great. The area was beautiful. The menue changed over night without notice. The bill was over charged and not compensated for. We do recomend this hotel just dont think it is 5 star it is not.

Clean and comfortable stay. Restaurant can use a menu upgrade/expansion. Food is ok. Don't break any red glasses by mistake, they'll cost you $69.

Dissapointed.

I stayed here last week,was very unhappy with the location,the room was average. The hotel seemed more involved with having wedding parties than accommodating guests. If you are planning a trip to Lviv,stay close to city centre it is well worth it. This Hotel is about 15 min by cab or 25 to 30 min by bus. I was on the 4th floor in a junior suite and the noise both nights from the wedding party was very loud and one night I went to go to the bar and was told I would not be aloud to stay in the bar as it was reserved!!

Nice, Quite Hotel located in Wilderness

The hotel and service is super! It's located off a large park or wilderness area and not in the center of town. You typically have to take a taxi into town. However, it is amazingly quiet, which I appreciated on my vacation. I would definitely return.

Kavalier Boutique is a First Class 5 Star hotel

I was very happy with my stay at Kavalier Hotel in Lviv, Ukraine. It is a new hotel, completely refurbished and decorated to the highest international standards. The staff were so kind and friendly, completely professional in every way. I had breakfast on two mornings. I had dinner on one evening and must say that the service and cuisine were excellent. I would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone

Five star hotel

This is one of the best, if not they best hotel I've stayed in. And I am a world traveler for 50 years. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The rates are amazingly affordable. Clean, spacious, almost opulent. The photos advertising it do not do it justice. Outstanding Restaurant and bar. Service and staff was excellent.

Relaxing

Very nice hotel. Everything felt fancy, and the rooms were very spacious. A friend and I were traveling with dogs and got a two twin room. The mattresses were a smidge smaller than the american standard twin, but very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the dogs. The staff was amazing. They were super helpful and very friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel is about a 5-7 minute drive from the city, but it's relaxing and quiet at night, and near a great park. There's also a great courtyard area with a couple yards, a playground and a small faux tower. For a new hotel, it still has great charm. Great place for receptions, kids or dogs. The resurant was also very good. Overall, very happy.
