Situated on the banks of the Nile opposite Luxor Temple, the split-level roof has a panoramic view over both the river and towards the Valley of the Kings and other historic sites, many within walking distance. It is located close to many of the treasures of Ancient Egypt : The Valley of the Kings (including Tutankhamun's tomb), Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut's Temple, Colossi of Memnon, to name a few, and the nearby ferry will take you on the short crossing directly across to Luxor Temple, and all the bustle of modern Luxor with its souks, restaurants and museums. Take a leisurely boat down the Nile, a hot air balloon trip, or a camel or horse ride around the old village with its traditional way of life unchanged for centuries.
