Vacasa handled a dangerous situation poorly
We had a nightmare of a weather weekend (-20 F) causing the pipes to freeze and ultimately we are very disappointed with how Vacasa handled the incident. We had no running water, shower or toilets for nearly 2 days. Paid a ton of money for a long weekend and spent it filling the back of the toilet with water we stored so we could flush. Felt like we were camping.
After several complaints and phone calls, they sent a handyman over to bring us space heaters, which obviously did not solve our frozen pipe situation. They NEVER sent anyone to check on us or the house afterwards and we haven’t heard a word from them since aside from us reaching out and getting “we have no update” responses. Extremely disappointed in how they handled what could have been a very dangerous situation.
