The hotel is very clean, rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We will always stay at this hotel when in lowestoft.

Dog friendly? Dog mad more like!

Lovely clean and modern with plenty of room. We booked a courtyard family room as we brought our dog with us. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice and it was home cooked, tasty and plentiful. All staff were friendly and helpful and made a fuss of all the dogs.

Comfortable stay at The Coach House.

We arrived around 5pm and they were ready for us. We were shown to a virtually new room in a block in the hotel grounds. Our bed was extremely comfortable and there was a brand new tv and new furniture. The room was warm and tended to by the hotel staff each day. Everything worked as it should and there was no noise to interrupt our sleep. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was served hot and well prepared. All in all, there was nothing to complain about. We will use The Coach House again when we visit family in Wrentham which is within a convenient distance by car (15 minutes). There were many returning guests at the hotel, which says a lot about how nice it is. Thanks to the staff and management for making our stay a success, well done *****.

Dissapointing

Unfortunately we wouldn't stay at the hotel again. After a six and a half hour drive to Lowestoft to attend a funeral early the next morning all that we wanted to do was to go to bed early and get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately for us we were located above the breakfast room that was being used for a meal for a party of 42 that night. It sounded like our bedroom was located in a busy back street boozer and there was no way we were going to get asleep until they had left. The noise died down about 11pm and we finally got off to sleep. We were then awoken shortly after to the sound of chairs and tables being dragged around. After 15 minutes I was forced to get up, get dressed and go down to ask the two young ladies who were setting up the breakfast room to please try and be quiet as we had already had to endure the sound of the party of 42 diners and now this. I would also like to point out that the room was cold and the heating did not work / come on at the times listed on the laminated sheet in the room.

My stay here after the refurbishment was such a surprise! The decor is lovely and has given me inspiration for my own home. The staff were the right amount of attentiveness, the food was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. The room was fresh and new and I loved the design. The bed was comfortable and courtyard location was so quiet. I am already looking for dates to book again!

Enjoyable overnight stay - hope to return

Quick business trip. Overnight stay. We chose the hotel knowing we would be arriving fairly late and they had parking on site, in-house restaurant, and breakfast (incl). We were not disappointed... lots of parking room, very welcoming, thoroughly enjoyable meal, good choice in the bar, and friendly breakfast waitress. Room was clean and in good condition, and the two single beds not squeezed together. Hope to return
