The Gathering Place is the perfect place to get away and gather with family and friends.
We are conveniently between Bardstown, Louisville, and Frankfort on the Bourbon Trail.

The resort offers an outdoor pool, playground, gift shop and an event center available to rent.

Offseason hiking, fireplace, and hot tub make a great peaceful getaway or work from "home" experience. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, bird/deer watching and relaxing.

The owners have been Resort guests for years and now own a cottage to enjoy and share with family, friends, and guests.

We had a wonderful weekend with extended family. Several families rented houses in this development and were able to have large group time together. Our house was large and beautiful. We were very conveniently close to the marina for boating fun. The weather was very hot, but the AC in our house worked wonderfully.

This was a great place to be able to get in and out of Louisville but not be bothered by the noise of a big city. All of the instructions were easy to follow and made the stay that much easier. This would be a place that I would rent again.
