Interesting stay
Negative = House has no name 'Bertram' or number on it?
Both rear doors had no keys? however staff rectified this promptly. Cars can be driven to rear of house and easily unloaded to upstairs kitchen and bedrooms.
We understand its pet friendly but carpets were filthy and should be floorboards or tiles throughout (same as kitchen & dining areas) or carpets cleaned regularly. We were told further renovations/improvements are happening.
House was very clean in and out but has a musty smell and needs regular airing.
Downstairs has no heating or cooling?
For the money we paid, at least wifi should available.
Positive: Contact staff were friendly, helpful & efficient = Thankyou very much.
Upstairs has been renovated and is very comfortable.
Bed linen, sheets, pillows & doonas are supplied. There are beds for 10 people.
Kitchen very well stocked and even basics are in pantry.
Great open fireplace (lots of wood avail) & also great ocean views.
Quiet & peaceful and even had a mama kangaroo on our front lawn for a few days.
A relaxing 45 min beach walk to Lorne.
Generally we had a good stay and would book again if carpet issue addressed. Its a great place for larger families with pets to stay.
