Just returned from a thoroughly relaxing two week break in beautiful peaceful surroundings. The bungalow was immaculately clean and very well equipped.Julie was particularly welcoming and helpful whenever we had a query. Towards the end of our holiday we unfortunately had a problem with our shower which was replaced with a brand new one within hours. Couldn’t ask for better service. We look forward to returning next year.

If you need a quiet place to get away and are not fussed about any facilities this is ideal for adults .The village pub was shut during our stay so this may have made a difference. The cottage was spotless and clean and couldn't be faulted at all an effort had obviously been made to reduce risk of infection although I have to admit the 17.00 arrival and 09.00 departure times were challenging!. The view from the patio looking out onto the field is special and the reason we chose this cottage.the cows and foxes came to visit often to the frustration and entertainment of our dog The cottage has everything you need possibly apart from blankets and dvds which may have been removed because of Covid precautions and if you stir fry food you will need too take your own wok! .Take plenty of pound coins to pay for the electricity (for a week in October with rain and hail we used £10.00 with some electricity left over) Overall this is a nice place to stay and is a good base to explore the area. There is a little wood just up the road from the main entrance where a public footpath takes you through a small section of woods which is ideal for a quick dog walk. Bungalow was lovely and clean.

Bungalow was lovely and clean. Very peace full and quite with a stream running behind. Only things we were not happy with was paying for access to WiFi for the week but then having no signal in the bungalow. Also on arrival info on paperwork said someone would be there to greet or info would be left on board on site owners arrived 30 mins after arrival time and said we could of gone and found are own bungalow using the name on paperwork rather then waiting for them to inform us. Having not been to this property before we was not aware that we had to go and find our own cottage on the site. Maybe what to do on arrival could be updated so 1st time visitors would know that they can go and look for there own cottage also map of site only had numbers on if names of cottages where there that would help to find your holiday bungalow.
