House is more run down than pictured. When we arrived it was a bit dirty. Some bugs in the ground, a sticky brown substance on the floor. The floors didn’t appear to have been cleaned. We could have managed that, but as we gathered in the living room a MOUSE ran across the floor. This was immediately addressed with the property manager. We spoke on the phone and he confirmed he was going to have pest control come over in the morning. He offered to reimburse us for the first night via phone as we left for a hotel. Then the next morning I received a message that they would compensate us 100 dollars for our inconvenience. They mentioned the pest control was over but did not mention if the mouse was found. I told them we were uncomfortable staying in a house with a mouse in it. I asked three times if the mouse was found, and still have not heard. We didn’t return. Ultimately we were refunded the cost of one night - we paid for: two nights, the cleaning fee (remember to NOT stay in a house that was dirty to begin with), the entire service fee and all taxes. While the host promptly responded, the responses failed to answer our most important question - IS THE MOUSE GONE. This is my first negative review left on VRBO with over 20 trips. Sadly would not recommend.
