Staff were great but the room was filthy. Although there was a event in town I didn’t appreciate being charged 3.5 times the regular rate. This is definitely a $50 a night room. It would have been fine if the furniture, curtains, carpet, microwave was clean but they were badly stained and the microwave was full of exploded pizza not good. Also wanted to check out early but was told it was up to Expedia. When I called Expedia they said it was up to the hotel. Who’s telling truth here?

There is little to like. The rooms are large but I would never stay here again. It is located within a strip mall across the parking lot from the Grand (Hell’s Canyon). The front door was locked with a sign saying to check in at the Grand. Staff at the Grand was not friendly from the beginning. The lady at the front desk was obviously put out that she was having to deal with us making the comment that she didn’t realize there was “no one over there today”and was borderline rude to my husband when we requested a room change after entering our assigned room and realizing we could not tolerate the smell in the room. It was terrible! She said they didn’t have any more ‘clean’ rooms available but did follow up shortly afterward to offer an upgraded room at no additional charge. It smelled somewhat better and we took it. Once she left and we went to unload our stuff we realized there were multiple issues (carpets were stained and downright nasty, curtains literally had multiple small holes all over them, etc.) This hotel is in some way connected to the Grand but they obviously do not choose to keep it even remotely to their standard. Granted, the price was cheaper but that does not excuse the neglect of this property. There was no one at the front desk at any time during our 1 night stay, carpets throughout were very stained and dirty (litter and a pair of shorts/underwear was laying in the 2nd fl hallway). Do yourself a favor and don’t even think about staying here.

Very Nice Room

Room was not ready when I arrived early so clerk said she would call. She had not called at 4:10 . When I returned to the desk to check in she offered no explanation. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

The ad is misleading. The pool is at another property making it less accessible to guests. Hotel staff wasn’t onsite the majority of the stay. We also had to check in at an opposite bldg. just not what we expected.
