Million Dollar Sunrise View

Our home is 4 bedroom, 2 Bathroom that sleeps 8, updated kitchen, dinning and seating with open floor plan and 2 full bathrooms with shower tub combo. Large out door deck, boat ramp, private dock and fire pit. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of nature. The large deck overlooks the lake where you may see bald eagles, mallard ducks, Canadian geese, osprey. We even have an owl that lives in the woods. You can fish from the newly refurbished dock or just sit and enjoy the view. Our house is cozy and comfortable. It may not be the biggest or the fanciest but you will enjoy a million dollar view. Enjoy your morning coffee as the sunrises right in front. Even though the sunset is behind the house as it sets the view across the lake and changing colors on the water is beautiful. If you are here for fishing this is the perfect location. Dreher Island is directly in front of the house by water. You can launch your boat from the boat ramp and be at Dreher Island State Park in 5 minutes. The house location gives great access by boat to the dam to the right and to the left is Little River and Blacks Bridge. Bring your boat and enjoy restaurants by water. Liberty Tap room, Buffalo Creek or Fiddler Blues are our favorites. Before your stay if you would like arrangements for a boat charter or fishing tour please let us know. We will be happy to help you make arrangements.

Important to note - the home has steps both out side and inside. There are hand rails. If you have mobility issues please know this is our home and is not handicap accessible.

Never Checked in or Used the Property

This review is respectful and true. I was in a high level bass tournament during the first week ok May. I never checked in but used the owners ramp to launch and practice. Never used the house at all. I purchased full trip insurance through VRBO because of the possibility of having to leave due to my 92 year old father's possible needs. While out practicing on the lake, i had a seious boating accident. I nearly was killed and had to be rescued. I returned home witout checking in and filled a claim for trip reimbursement. No help was given by the property owner, VRBO or insurance carrier. Just run around. I am still in limbo and cant get any communication from anyone especially the property owner. I have provided all necessary documents and still nothing. Beware of this property and the overall deceitful process.

Peaceful Place

The view was amazing and very relaxing. The sleeping rooms were just perfect for our family group. We enjoyed playing games at the large dining table. Sadly, the weather was not good, and we were only there for two nights. It did have quite a few odds and ends in closets, doors and drawers.

Lovely place

Overall we had a lovely stay at the house. The location on the lake is wonderful and the patio and glass porch are so lovely. We enjoyed the views and swimming. We rented a boat just five minutes away. The house was as described and had all the basic amenities we needed. The owner was very responsive and helped us figure out a few challenges very quickly. One thing to know is that the master bedroom is elevated up a few steps from the sitting room. While the sitting room has ac, the master does not. We found it fine with fans but wished we had known this in advance.

Fishing trip

Leigh Ann was quick to respond to all of our questions and made the check in process easy. The property is well equipped with everything you need and is beautiful with a super fantastic view. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and you can see a lot of wildlife wandering around. There were four adults there for a fishing trip. We would definitely highly recommend this property and we will stay there again.

A cozy home and awesome view

Leigh Ann was wonderful with all my questions. Thank you for sharing your family home that your grandpa built. I especially loved the resident cats. She has all.cooking supplies you need. I brought my own and didn't have to. If you want to sit on the dock, bring your own chairs but there is a picnic table with umbrella close to dock. She also has a huge supply of towels if needed. Beds we're comfy and ac worked.really well. My favorite place was the sun porch with ac. Thanks for a great stay.

Quaint and cozy

My family of 7 (mostly young adults) enjoyed this lake house. View is mesmerizing and so relaxing. Everything we needed for our stay. Grilled on the patio while enjoying the breeze and view of the lake.
