The Florida I remember from my childhood.

My wife and i stayed 5 days while handling my fathers funeral arrangements and funeral. It was such a relief to come back to a place that felt like home at the end of the day instead of a bland hotel room.

Relaxing stay

Loved sitting on the back porch and fishing off the dock. Very friendly people hosted us and they had thoughtful amenities in the cabin. Loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

Cozy and unique

The space was perfect for me. Deck overlooking water is cool. Mike and Bernie were kind enough to also let my 2 grandsons come stay with me one night. Location is great - only about 4 miles from the mall and restaurants.

Everything We Expectd

We enjoyed staying at this location. We are avid fishing people and being able to walk down to the dock was fantastic. I would update a few things in the Cabin itself, but nothing major. I would rent it again in a heartbeat. Bernie was very helpful and easy to reach. Actually We have no complaints. If anything a bait shop at the location would be great! LOL

Peaceful and Beautiful

Very rustic looking on outside but beautifully decorated and clean inside. Double size bed took a little getting used to and kitchen table was small. Very nice walk-in shower.. Hosts were very helpful and provided some nice extras. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out over the water at many different birds and some fishermen.

Great little spot!

Great place!

This is our second time here. This is a great place to stay. We brought our bass boat and tied it to the pier. There is a close boat ramp at the home park just over the bridge. Also enjoyed sunsets on the deck.

Fabulous Yet Again

This is the third trip for us to this lovely spot. Private, peaceful and just so enjoyable. You won't find better hosts anywhere. Whatever you need, it's there. We'll be looking at the schedule for trip number four. It's one of our favorites.

Spillway cottage

Amazing Bernie and Mike great host. We loved staying there and stayed an extra night. The cottage is very comfortable and we had our coffee on the back deck every morning and enjoyed our stay very much. Cant wait to go back

Family friendly

We had a wonderful time ,great host couldn’t ask for better people make you feel very welcome. .so much fun we had fishing was great my grandson and I had so much fun on the paddleboat. It was a great trip for my husband ,myself and our grandson.
