Strange set up to get to you room on the ground floor. Up a flight of stairs but nothing major. We chose this because it was a 10 min walk from our daughters new place. Nice pub down the road.

At check-in there was a guest with one receptionist so I went towards the other without looking up indicated with his hand for me to go to the other receptionist, it was so rude I was speechless! When more guests arrived behind me, the receptionist busy with a guest asked for assistance, he completed what he was doing then checked me, handwriting on the room was so bad could not read WI-FI code!

I stayed there before and never had any problems. But this trip the sofa bed was not made up for the kids. The room phone didn’t work and they had no pizza in the restaurant/bar.

Fine property

Stay was pleasent, didnt get to use the indoor pool but spoke to the attendant & gave all the info required, had an issue on the 2nd night with no power in the room all evening. Eventually we got moved room & all was ok.

Positives Great hotel, lovely staff, lovely clean room, comfortable nights sleep, coffee maker, kettles biscuits etc in room. Amazing breakfast. Downside Small blood stain at bottom of duvet cover, my husband told me not to call about it I do have a photo., I then decided to order room service 2 shandys and the Pina Colada dessert, when I took the cover off it was 2 scoops of icecream and some coconut no pineapple at all nothing like the menu description, I even took a photo as I I was quite shocked. I could not call room service to complain, as the phone in the room was not working I reported this to reception as I called to place the room service order from my mobile I should have gone to reception before checking out unfortunately we were in a rush.

Brief Wedding

very friendly front desk! The WiFi was great. The shower strength was amazing, as was the air con given our current weather. We only stayed one night but would definitely revisit ahould the need arise
