Very very noisy in the ocean view bure 319. Don’t stay, even noise cancellong earphones weren’t enough. Constant power washing and portable generator noise. This noise isn’t audible throughout entire property, but unavoidable in and around the unit I got stuck with

The room had large cockroaches, was not as pictured, had faulty dangerous electrical, the manager was difficult to get hold of and when we finally did he was not helpful. Hotels.com service was horrible, I kept getting disconnected from the chat then would have to explain the situation again and again. After finally getting agreement that there would be a full refund and that the hotel had agreed to this, we were told by another agent that they need to contact the hotel. I spent 2 days while on holiday trying to sort this and we had to reduce what we had placed to do because funds were tied up in this booking. Because of the poor hotel and the actions of Hotels.com this holiday has been a total let down for the entire family. I will not be recommending Hotels.com or first landing to anyone.

The 2 bedroom villa was a nice cosy and modern environment to relax, the yard and sitting areas outside was very nice, and spacious to enough to have guests over. Great stay overall.

Located directly behind Room 319 is a very large boat hoist at the adjacent marina. It was in continuous use with different boats and was so loud it was impossible to ignore and enjoy the porch or even the room. Closing the windows couldn’t mute the sound of the power washing of the hulls or portable generators . Avoid!!!

Original Fiji style decor. Staff were some of the friendliest and most professional I’ve experienced in a hotel setting. Stayed 9 nights and never ordered the same thing twice off their extensive menu! No waiting around for a pool lounger - went in May and they weren’t that busy. Would go again.

We had an amazing time. Everything we needed was right at the resort. We enjoyed walking the beaches, the swimming pool was great. We enjoyed playing games out on the foot island. The service was superior.

It is hard to rate this property because we had bad and excellent accommodation. Other than the renovated upstairs bathroom, the Royal Villa was terrible, needed a good clean and upgrade. We had to get the linen changed because it was grey and stained. Don't think anything has been touched since Prince Charles stayed there in 2005, hairdryer cord was tangled and caked with dust and grime, venetian blinds were broken, and kitchen appliances were old and marked and the settee had sagging seats. So glad we had to move for our last night, the pool villa next door (No.106) was amazing. Other than the outdoor shower being full of debris I could not fault it.

Authentic , traditional Fijian buildings and interiors., very friendly , helpful staff and very clean. Daily Fijian entertainment and activities provided daily, eg. Basket weaving, Kava ceremony, etc. Excellent food and bar, but expensive. The beach is a coral based which makes it difficult to swim at . While gardens and surrounds generally well maintained , a lot of timber steps, and outdoor sitting areas were not, many seat cushions, etc were torn or missing. We had a cracked basin in our room. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful Fijian Resort away from the high rise modern hotels.
