Location, location, location

Very nice apartment, very well located next to the beach and bus transportation. Close to everything: many restaurants, shops, grocery, car rental. We decided to take a ferry to go visit Tenerife, turned out the ferry bus service was walking distance! Plus: Communication with host was very easy thru Vrbo messaging.

Zentral aber sehr laut

Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung. Die Lage ist sehr günstig (nahe Busstation Santa Catalina und Strand Las Canteras). Leider ist die Straße sehr laut, Durchgangsverkehr, laute Nachbarschaft (Fitness-Studio bis 23 Uhr), Parkhaus direkt daneben (24/7), die Müllabfuhr fährt nachts um 1.15 Uhr vorbei um die großen Sammel-Müllcontainer zu leeren mit entsprechendem Lärm. Das Einchecken war auch ganz besonders. Der Besitzer schrieb mir, ich sollte den Wohnungschlüssel "in the mailbox at the reception" abholen. Es gibt aber keine Rezeption. Was er meinte, war, dass ich abwarten sollte, bis jemand die Tür des Gebäudes öffnet, so dass ich in die Eingangshalle herein kommen kann und ich sollte dort den Schlüssel aus dem abgeschlossen Briefkasten "herausfischen". Nach 3 Telefonaten und mit Hilfe des Hausmeisters, der zufällig da war und den ich mit dem Besitzer (der selber schlecht Englisch spricht) verbunden habe, kam ich an den Schlüssel, der vom Hausmeister aus dem Briefkasten heraus geschüttelt wurde.
