Escape to Lake Cowichan area in 2025!

Our short term rental is the perfect getaway. Our vacation rental is a beautiful 2 bedroom (3 queen beds) 1 bathroom which sleeps up 6 people, max 4 adults. It is perfect for immediate families, couples or close friends retreat. The gorgeous backyard is made for relaxing, with great spaces set up for both sun and shade. The private yard is surrounded with mature trees, outdoor patio, fire pit, BBQ and goldfish pond. Located at Beaver Lake Resort you have access to a private beach with large swimming area, lake, docks, huge field with play area, badminton, ping pong, horse shoe pit, basketball court and hiking trails. The resort is privately owned and is one if the best kept secrets in the Cowichan Valley. Our unit is located just 100m away from Beaver Lake which is accessible on a flat walking path. We are also conveniently located just 2km from the town of Lake Cowichan!

The lake was lovely. We liked the friendly people around us. The owners were so welcoming. We found the trailer quite hot and my daughter and I who ironically love pets but have pet allergies did suffer in this pet-friendly location.

Relaxing

Great little resort with private beach & dock area. Swim area was fun ( though not too big because of all the lily pads) and we made good use of the inflatable water tubes and balls provided. The home provided a portable AC unit which kept the main areas cool, but it was a little warm in bedrooms until the night air helped cool them down. There were a few ants on the kitchen counter in the mornings, but otherwise clean. No WIFI or cable, but plenty of DVDs to watch. Close to town, relaxing, and comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful

Cozy converted mobile home in a beautiful area. Neighborhood was filled with friendly folks. View at the lake was amazing. Owners answered questions in a timly manor. Very clean, and kid friendly.

Pleasant stay in holiday trailer park

We had a pleasant stay but were a bit surprised to find that it is not actually a cabin but a manufactured home, and it is not actually a "resort", but a holiday trailer park. The place was clean and comfortable and the backyard made the place work for us.
