The Paderlafoderhof is located on the sunny south side of the Grödner Valley.
Farming has been practiced on the property for over a hundred years—formerly as a full-time occupation, and today as a sideline, with “farm stays” serving as an important source of supplemental income.
In the past, 10–12 people made their living from the farm’s produce; today, the income from farming alone is no longer sufficient to support even a small family. We still raise young cattle, and apple, pear, plum, walnut, and chestnut trees adorn our fields, contributing to our agricultural revenue with their harvests.
Experience a farm vacation in our two apartments in Lajen, at the entrance to the Gröden Valley.
