Accommodation description

Living room:
The Lounge is spacious and has a double sofa/bed, small cupboard for storage, coffee table, flat-screen TV. There are double patio doors leading onto the front balcony with a table and 4 chairs. Internet Wifi & Television in English & Portuguese.

Bedroom:
1 bedroom with a king-size bed.
The bedroom has built-in wardrobes providing plenty of storage space, side bed cupboards and a chest of drawers for your convenience. There are extra blankets if needed stored on the sofa-bed. A radiator is provided for the cooler evenings.

Kitchen:
The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen with hob/oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, crockery & cutlery. There is a kitchen dining table and 3 chairs, iron and ironing board.

Bathroom:
Washbasin with storage, toilet, bidet, storage unit, modern shower.

Balcony:
The balcony has a table and 4 bamboo chairs, clothes drying rack.

Amenities/Facilities/
Parking is available to the side of the property. Communal tennis court and football behind the building.

Cleaning/Towels/Linen:
Linen, towels, beach towels and parasol are included.

There are numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and pockets all within an easy walking distance from the Apartment.

Other facilities are a Post Office, Banks, Clinic and a Central Church just around a corner.

Coast/Beach
The apartments are situated only 5 minutes from the safe golden sandy beach, ideal for swimming and water sports.

About the area
Praia da Luz in the southwestern Algarve is a relaxed, friendly resort that’s perfect for a quieter, more chilled out holiday making it ideal for couples or families. There is lots to do on holidays to Praia da Luz and gorgeous surroundings to do them in! There are numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and pockets all within an easy walking distance from the Apartment. Water sports are available from the beautiful safe golden sandy beach or you can just sit and watch the world go by from the bustling esplanade.
The historical town of Lagos is very close to Luz. The Lagos town centre has many tourist attractions including a Castle, famous Churches and yacht marina. It is a delight to walk through the narrow streets and discover the many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.
Only a 10 minute by car or 15 - 20 minutes by bus journey away to Lagos from Luz.
There is a regular bus service only a 3-minute walk from the apartment (the yellow bus service) to Lagos (Lagos bus station). Bus stop next to the church in Luz.
Bus – Line 4 (Linha 4) “ONDA” Yellow Route – Burgau, Almadena, Espiche, Luz & Lagos

The rest of the Algarve is easily accessed from the Lagos Bus station (ticket office timetable:
Mon-Sat : 06h15 – 20h30; Sundays and Holidays : 07h15 – 20h30
or Railway station which are adjacent to the Marina.
The Spa town of Monchique, Silves with Historic Castle and lands end at Sagres are all worth visiting.

Golf
The Algarve is a haven for Golfers. There are many wonderful golf courses situated within a 30-mile radius:
Boavista Golf & Spa Resort - 5 minutes by car.
Parque da Floresta -15 minutes by car.
Palmares & Penina - 20 minutes by car.
Non-golfers can enjoy the health spa's, restaurants and bars at each of the courses.

How to get there
Faro Airport is 68km which takes about 50 minutes by car.
Car hire or transfers are optional and can be booked in advance (recommended) or at the airport on arrival.

Burgau-6.1km west, typical old Portuguese fishing village with small beach & restaurants.

Lagos Zoo-8.1km, which houses 140 species of animals and 200 plant species from 5 continents, playground, shops, picnic area, restaurant & bar.
