This spacious, modern and tasteful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is perfectly located behind Meia Praia beach, on the side of Lagos town (15 min by foot). You'll have beautiful views over Meia Praia and the Atlantic Ocean both from your spacious private balcony and the shared rooftop pool. First line Beach front apartment.

The house is luxuriously equipped to suit all your comforts. From the open kitchen to the lounge, both bedrooms and the spacious balcony; sea view is everywhere around you! The bathrooms with walk-in showers have been renovated in the summer of 2020.

## Neighborhood

The apartment is located on the Lagos side of 'Meia Praia', the area named after the beach behind which it lays. You'll have your toes in the sand within 5 minutes after leaving the house! The Marina area is about 10 minutes away and has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket. To reach Lagos downtown you just cross the bridge behind the marina.

There are also a few restaurants located at Meia Praia, some as part of resorts. The Vila Galé resort also has spa and gym facilities that are open for outside customers.

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Property was excellent, great location. We loved it and Lagos as well. The only downside was that it for no apparent reason, it took almost 3 weeks of chasing the management company to get our deposit back.

Lovely location & well presented flat

The layout of the flat was great with views of the sea from all the bedrooms , lounge & kitchen.The facilities are very good although the bathrooms could do with a refresh. There is still a drain problem & smell in the bathroom. Unfortunately the flat below was having a massive refurbishment which was very noisy but think it’s almost finished. Due to the weather been so wet we spent more time in the flat at times than we would normally have so the noise of the hammer drill was extremely irritating. Apart from that temporary issue all was good.

Perfect for what we wanted

Aside from briefly struggling to find the door to our apartment (as we arrived at night) we were very pleased with the space. Clean, well maintained and spacious. We took our two teenagers and had plenty of room. Loved the balcony and the rooftop pool, which was mostly very quiet. Beach 5 minutes walk away, and some nice bars and restaurants in walking distance.

On the good side the location was nice and the apartment was spacious. On the bad side there is a horrible sewer smell from the large bathroom. The hot water was not working well and not able to be fixed in a timely manner. The pillows were horrible and made sleeping poor. No beach towels were provided even though this property is just across the street from the beach. I would not stay here again.

Lovely visit to the Algarve

Our group of four adults spent 3 nights in this beautiful apartment in Lagos during our tour through Portugal. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped but the outdoor patio is the star of the show. It's an easy walk to the beach or restaurants in the beach. The owner provided lots of information but locating the right apartment and code for the gates was tricky. Luckily two residents helped us out. Parking inside the gates or the parking garage is very tight. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

Nice Stay

The property was very clean, well laid out and the management company was very prompt with communications. The location is a quick drive to old town Lagos. Grocery store nearby for supplies very handy. The property could provide a more complete starter kit including washer detergent, additional bathroom tissue and more than 4 towels. We picked these items up the following day but we couldn't complete clothes washing as planned upon our arrival after 6 pm. Minor details but we experienced a great quiet stay

Beautiful apartment in a lovely location

We loved the location on the beach and enjoyed the large deck. It took us about 30 minutes to walk into town. The restaurants across the road were lovely. If you are planning on staying for an extended visit, this is a great option. For short term stays it isn’t ideal because the property management company only supplies one garbage bag, one dishwasher puck, no shampoo, and one bath towel each. No beach towels! There is a washing machine, but no dryer. When we ran into a problem with the safe, it took them several days to come up with a solution.

Beautiful condo

This property was beautiful and right across from the ocean. We loved the condo and especially the large balcony! Check in was a bit of a pain because we could not get the gates open and the code provided was incorrect. We spend 30 minutes trying to figure it out and finally got assistance from another resident. Also. There was still a bad smell coming from one of the bathrooms despite requests to the management company that they ensure that door was taken care of before we arrived (as previous reviewers mentioned it before). That was disappointing. If you can get past that door the place is great, provided you get the correct codes for the gates!

Beautiful apartment in Lagos

Confortable stay, full equipped house parking included, big balcony with sea view. The rooms are spacious, comfy beds but one of the bathroom has a smelly odor come from the drain, very disturbing. I guess the property knows about this but would not do anything, may be at least leave some air freshener For that reason I give 3 star

When we arrived there were 2 towels for 4 people even though we told them there were 4. When we told them they said they would send them the next day! 😮. Not acceptable. The worst part was the smell of sewer gases in the bathroom. It was horrible and when we told the owner they didn’t do anything about it. When we looked further into the comments we could see that this has been a problem since 2021. The shower floors had a lot of mold and mildew. It was lovely being across from the beach but the listing didn’t show the busy road in front. Great location. It’s too bad because this could be a great property but needs attention. Wish we had dug further into the reviews. The warnings were there

amazing location and views

The apartment had everything we needed, as described in listing. The best feature of course was the balcony, where we spend most of our day enjoying the winter sun. We didn't have a car, and walk to marina/town/grocery was easy, and the bus stop right in front of the apartment was great when we didn't want to walk or were going further.

Great stay in the perfect apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul, which was very clean and well equipped. The outdoor space was very large , with a view of the ocean. It is about a 30 minute easy walk to the historic part of Lagos, which was perfectly fine with us. We loved Lagos with its quaint streets, shops, and restaurants. The beach across the street is wide and beautiful! I would definitely recommend a stay at Casa Azul!

Die Wohnung und Umgebung waren traumhaft, alles wie beschrieben, direkt am wunderschönen Strand . Der Poolbereich könnte verbessert werden, keine Auflagen für die Liegen, Poolhandtücher auch nicht vorhanden, Mövenkacke die ganze Woche auf den Fliesen, schade. Sonst alles perfekt!

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung, zB. Verschiedene Küchengeräte, Terrassenmöbel, etc. waren hervorragend. Lagoszentrum in 15 Minuten zu Fuß über den Holzsteg am Strand zu erreichen. Swimmingpool auf dem Dach mit großer Fläche mit Liegestühlen.
