I would have given much higher rating but the check-in process was a nightmare. The landlord is not local, no staff available for help. No clear signs where to park for the rental.. it's a closed in community with parking available outside the gated community, that wasn't clarified. Gates remain closed and no customer desk on premise. You have to take chance on someone getting in, and you force yourself in along. We waited hours before we saw someone from the bar getting in and let us tag along. Then finding the apartment in darkness is another nightmare. Where the keys are and location of lockbox was not clarified and no one knows.. landlord stopped communicating.. expedia customer service suggested getting another hotel that night at 2 am in the morning, after 4 hours of left in the dark. expedia was useless and they wouldn't even pay for another hotel.. they said they couldn't do anything.. at nearly dawn after getting in, we were a bit relieved, there was spare fans, blankets, towels but no toiletries. that's ok, the next day we purchased all. good sun light through out, nice wind if you open the window, excellent tv program.. it's someone's house, so has all amenities for self catering.. other then check-in nightmare, everything is good. ah, spain has those small food ant issue, so can't leave anything out. All in all, it's okay and good price, calm, good place to relax.
