The staff continually asked if we were leaving. Very unfriendly staff. I thought if I tipped well they would give better service but it didn’t happen. No one ever smiles there. I will never return to this hotel again.

Tesoro Beach Hotel is very nice, the room very clean and comfortable, the food very delicious, it would be great if they had pupusas on the dinner menu. It's a place with a lot of potential that needs quick renovations. The restaurant staff provided excellent service and friendliness. I would definitely come back again, the beach is great and pools too. One recommendation Front desk personnel needs provide more information to guests about the services the hotel offers. Safe areas around hotel. Beautiful sunsets

The beaches are stunningly clean, the locals are welcoming, and I felt safe throughout my stay. It’s an affordable destination. The hotel will need a bit of TLC. Definitely you need a car to nothing is walk distance. El Salvador is the second safest country in the world!!

The hotel is in a nice area, the grounds are beautiful. In general inside it is okay condition. Our bathroom door literally would get stuck and when you finally got it to open it made the loudest noise. Anytime anyone used it everyone heard it. Also the water pressure was so high and no air duct in there so the shower curtain will wrap you around as you try to shower. The staff for the majority of it was kind. Front desk and the males outside at the parking were attentive, the females for some reason were rude and if you asked them for directions looked at us rudely as if we didn’t speak Spanish. It was weird. Overall The hotel is okay. I loved their pools and it seems the hotel is going to be renovated so hopefully they do fix the issues inside

Place is nice but it needs to be updated. The Roof looks really bad. They should offer some more amenities for the price that guest paid. I have been other places for less with some more amenities but this time I want to try a different place.There is no potable water in the bathrooms, just salty water which I think they give treatment but is not good to wash your mouth cause taste weird. There is not fridge not coffee maker not Icé. I asked for wine opener which they provide with a extra charge and believe me it cost more than buying a new one. Rooms have air condition and a plasma Tv with Netflix which is good. Breakfast was fine but I ordered a parrillada at dinner and did not like It. Pools and walking areas are nice and i really liked and there is a plenty of parking area . Employees were kind. Over all is a nice place it just needs some more investment

the staff was great, but it needs so maintenance, it is getting neglect it, specially with the water, maybe the filter is not doing the proper work because it was salty, when you want to take a clean fresh shower. I wish that they improve in the future when I come back the next time.

The beach is Nice , the pools the don’t treat the water, lazy river pool for kids you can see green mold around , when people drink around the pool night time , the staff refuse to clean , I ask twice they say we do it in the morning, we order food for dinner they didn’t clean the table all the bird make a mess on the tables , the Wi-Fi is low not working

The hotel is situated at one of the most beautiful beaches. The place seems to be stuck in time (I knew the hotel from back in the mid 80s), but I can say that bed and was very comfortable. Could do better with cleaning and staff should be trained in service - this includes the manager. Surprised that there was no coffee available at 6:00 am.
