My family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights in August. At over 500/night we expected a lot more than what we got at this property. While it is an excellent location (right across a small street to the beach) and we enjoyed the pool and tennis court access, we were disappointed on several accounts. For one thing, our host (Village Realty) was very unresponsive. I sent messages days ahead of our departure regarding use of beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. that were shown in the pictures of the garage but not listed in the listing, and also about needing to bring or rent tennis rackets, and didn’t hear back so we ended up bringing our own. Everything went ok with check-in, but we found sand all over our bed in the primary bedroom (spread used as a beach blanket?!). I sent a message to VR but didn’t hear back for two days. We ended up buying detergent and washing the bedding ourselves. Two of the three bathroom faucets were so loose they came off in our hands. Also sent a message about this. The unit was very humid and towels, clothes never dried out. Toiletries are provided but towels were non-absorbent and bed pillows flat. The sofa was pilled and scratchy, and may have belonged to a pet owner, as my son had an allergic reaction laying on it. We covered it with a spare blanket. Lastly, the power lines were removed from the cover photo of the deck which, if you’re taking sunrise/beach photos is annoying and frankly dishonest. We had a nice time but would not rent here again.
