Great old style hotel right near the JR station. Big room and classic hallways, with great service. All basic amenities were provided. Right next to the drawbridge and the harbour walk, and the ferry to Honshu. Didn't try the Italian restaurant.

Good Value of the suite in that area

The suite have the best view in town and a very good value. With around US160 per night ,you can have the whole suite, with a superb lounge access and breakfast for 3 people, which is kind of a steal from my perspective.

This is probably my most favorite part of Japan with it being less populated so it means people are more down to earth and less Americanized than the more popular parts of Japan. Also this hotel is cheaper than other you will find in the inner city.

Directly infront of this waterfront hotel with rooms with the view of the lighted up car bridge and pedestrian bridge, is a ferry that people can take to go to the fish market full of sushi selection a la carte. Quality at fish market is average since there is a restaurant with very high quality sushi around the corner from this hotel. Great tax free shopping for tourists near the hotel too.

・門司港駅からすぐでシンボル的なホテル。夜に門司港レトロ展望室で夜景鑑賞をしても、ホテル自体もライトアップされており、歩いてもすぐなので、門司港レトロ観光目的ならばこちらのホテルを選んで大正解です。・部屋は海側ではなかったが、夜は海峡プラザのライトアップなどもあり、また海側の景色はロビーから目の前に見られるので、お値段がお得なことも鑑みるとこちらの部屋でも十分満足だった。 ・部屋の清掃に関しては、バスタブの中やバスルームの床、デスクチェアにも髪の毛が落ちており、清掃の甘さを感じた。 ・朝食ブッフェは種類がものすごく豊富というわけではないが、質が高く美味しかった。2泊したが飽きることはなく、また白とロゼのスパークリングワインがあるのが嬉しかった。 ・午前中のチェックアウト頃の時間帯だけ、ロビーでコーヒーの無料サービスがあったが、チェックイン時にはこの点についてのアナウンスがなかった。また、2日目のチェックアウト時には、マシンが故障したとのことでサービスがなかったのが残念だった。・大浴場があれば完璧だが、全体的に宿泊して良かったです。
