Beautiful 15th Century cottage located in high above the River Avon located on the south west coast path and within (2-3 mile) walking distance to Bantham beach in one direction and (1-2 mile) Aveton Gifford village the other. It is a really special spot that takes you back in time... with the owls sending you to sleep along with the distant roll of the ocean. Surrounded by trees and pretty gardens it is a magical place to rest after enjoying all the area has to offer.

great location

quiet and comfortable cottage in a great location to explore the South Hams . We had an amazing week walking and swimming on the nearby coast . The host was welcoming and helped us find the best places to explore

Lovely rural break away

Beautiful cottage and surrounding landscape

I had a lovely second visit to Stadbury. The cottage is very tidy and comfortable. The kitchen looks a bit dated but all the appliances work perfectly. The surrounding area is stunning. Alex is very friendly and helpful.
